The food is creative and features many dishes not found on other menus, such as barbecued buffalo ribs in tamarind/chipotle glaze, or braised wild boar. They have wine country specials, appetizer and main for $20, add dessert for $25. High quality. The berry dessert is to die for, rich soaked raspberry pudding with berries and white chocolate on top. The lunch items are creative and also classic, for example the appetizers included banana blossoms, a perfect asparagus salad with a twist, yummy crab cakes and more. The entrees were equally good, ranging from the expected standards of French toast and corn beef to juicy beef medallions. The kitchen split the chicken into a breast leg/thigh for me to split with my girlfriend to taste. Spinach mushroom ravioli was also good but it was tough to compete with the chicken. Our server was highly knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great advice to make the best choices. The outdoor patio was beautiful, with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Hurley's father’s “Irish Fish Stew” from S.F.F.D. Hook & Ladder Co. #19. It was sea scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams & sea bass in a white wine, tomato & garlic broth. Excellent! My friend had Corned Beef Agus Cabaístz which was corned beef & cabbage, carrots, turnips, freshly dug potatoes, horseradish cream. Also excellent. We both remarked that the atmosphere is very relaxed but serve staff is very attentive.
