Had nice dinner this weekend at hurley's. Here is the thing, if this restaurant was in my local neighborhood I would give it 5 stars. But it's in yountville with some impressive competition just steps away. So in that context it was good but not great. Menu was interesting as it was gaming week so that was a plus. Also the service was very good and the restaurant itself has a nice vibe.

Don't know how we've missed Hurley's in prior visits to Yountville, but now it will have a permanent place on our favroites list. Great food and ambiance. We lucked into the game festival-wild boar baby ribs were amazing and the duck confit was perfect.

I've been going to Hurley's since it opened and have never been disappointed. The food is always top quality and excellently prepared, and he constantly updates the menu, keeping favorites. This week is Wild Game week with some unusual items on the menu, something different every day. The wine list is great, and the desserts are wonderful.

We always enjoy Hurley's and make a point of coming for the Wild Game Week every November. My husband especially enjoys wild game meats and the menu is wonderfully varied and well-prepared! He had the Rack of Elk and I had the Braised Wild Texas Boar, with a Duck Breast Salad that we shared. Chef Hurley and another gentleman (perhaps the manager?) stop by the tables to talk to guests and the service is friendly, prompt and professional.

we were in town for Napa Valley Film Festival and Napa Valley was a buzz. We were able to get into Hurley's for a late afternoon lunch on the patio on a beautiful afternoon. Our server was excellent and attentive and the food was delicious. My husband and I had the 2-course fix prix with the salad and salmon and our girlfriend had the mussels. Everything was excellent.

I showed up at Hurley's a full 15 minutes ahead of my reservation and was seated promptly. I was dining with a vegan friend and had emailed in informing the chef that I had made a reservation. Not only was he accommodating and prompt with his response, but when we arrived, there was a special menu just for us. It made our night knowing that we didn't have to scrutinize the menu down to the fine details. The staff was friendly and inviting. Oh and the food! Everything was delicious, especially the appetizer. The extensive wine list threw me for a loop, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything and cleaned my plate. Too bad I didn't have enough room for dessert because it all sounded so good! I highly recommend Hurley's if you are close or ever in the area.

It was so noisy in the dining room that you either had to shout for your partner to hear you across the table or write hand written notes! The food was good. However this was the first time we left a restaurant in a bad mood because we could not enjoy our meal.

A gem, sparkling in the sleepy town of Yountville. My 90 year old aunt from Corona del Mar just raved about the food, ambiance, and our very attentive waiter. (she has been to the best all over the world) We will make it a point to return in the evening and sample some more of their offerings. Yum.

We almost always end up deciding to go to Hurley's whenever we survey the local options. Napa has a proliferation of fancy eateries, and Hurley's, thankfully, avoids that designation. The food is genuine, savory, and delicious. Not a single time have we ever been disappointed. The wild boar is far from boring, the spare ribs were unbelievable and the starter courses likewise fantastic.

Had a number of friends recommend this place. The meal started out pretty well service was friendly and first drinks tasted good. The food on the other hand was somewhere between poor and fair. None of the six meals tasted very good (thought out of pure random luck, one of them would have been good). It may have been an off night for Hurleys, but walked away pretty disappointed.

We have dined at Hurley's a few times during visits to Napa Valley. We thought it would be a great spot for outdoor dining before heading back east to the brisk fall weather. The food was not as good as I recalled in the past. My husband's dish of wild boar was good, not outstanding. My vegetarian dish was not what I had hoped, partly because I was not anticipating ordering vegetarian our last night of vacation. Out server was a wonderful young woman, very attentive & personable. We'll be back, just did not meet my expectations this particular night.

We came here for a late lunch in a saturday, and it was a nice outdoor setting. We began with a beet salad that was really great, and a cream of mushroom soup that was delicious. We felt that we are off to a great start. Then we decided to share 3 dishes to try a a few options. We had the risotto which was on the sweeter side with pumpkin and squash which was ok but needed salt. We also had the gnocchi with mushroom which was also sweet and needed a lot more salt. And lastly, we tried the bucatini which was good but could have been better. Overall our experience was fine for our 1st time there. Definitely not in a hurry to go back anytime soon, but maybe we'll give it another shot sometime in the future.

We went to Hurley's for dinner but I believe that their menu is available for all day dining. Nice place with outdoor seating. Service and food were both good. I had octopus salad which was a little small but tasty followed by a pork loin chop which was really tender but maybe a little too smoky in flavor. My only discrepancy with the restaurant was that they claimed to offer free corkage & since we enjoyed some great wines during our trip to Napa we decided to bring a bottle of our own which they proceeded to charge $20 corkage?? We did bring it to the attention of our server and she did remove the charge so I do recommend you review the charges on your dining check.

Food was really good and reasonable. Nice wine list. We had an interesting Bucatini pasta dish (black pasta noodles). The service was ok...Servers would come to the table and expect us to move everything around on the table to allow them to put the dish in front of us. They were also getting in my personal space!...Everytime they would serve water or pick up a dish they could get so close to me that I would have to shift over in the chair...It was so annoying that I told my husband to watch the next time they came by to make sure I wasn't just exaggerating the situation. There was plenty of room to pick up, pour water or place a dish without rubbing against me. Aside from that we would go again for the food, wine and ambiance.

This visit to Hurley's was a gift from my boyfriends parents. We started off with a couple of dirty martinis and the calamari and crab cakes. Best calamari! For entrees, he had the wild boar with truffle polenta and I had the pork chop with sweet potato gnocchi. Both dishes were incredible. His truffle polenta was to die for and my pork chop was very thick with a gorgeous crust! A bottle of Stag's Leap Cab paired nicely. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake (of course) and he had a fruit pastry/torte of some kind, both with gelato and a coffee for each of us. Everything was delicious and I am already thinking of our next visit.

Food was very good, and service as well. Service was a little slow, but server very proactive and communicative with rationale (large group in other room). Very strange restaraunt set-up requires getting to dining area by walking through the busy bar, and through kitchen area with servers consistently standing around waiting for prepared food to serve at tables. From dining area you are constantly aware of servers standing around waiting for food.

Nice atmosphere, Service great. Let's talk food: 1. Calamari appetizer had so much pepper in the batter, it required many glasses of water to calm it down. 2. Pork chop entrée, nothing special, dry and salty. - the broccoli rabe was bitter, they didn't boil it first, just sautéed 3. Tuna entrée was prepared well. - accompanying risotto was OK No reason to return to this mediocre food.
