"A fun neighborhood (upper Fremont) "hangout" with friendly staff with tasty and interesting foods. Ya gotta try the wild boar sliders--yum! There are veggie options, as well. The meals are carefully prepared, well-presented, and are healthy portions, i.e., not "super-sized.""

"The food was quite good, the drinks were excellent, the server was nice, but not pearticularly knowledgeable or attentive. I guess I expected a little more. Would recommend only to peopl who might beinterested in the type of food they serve, but would not recommend just in general."

"Hunger is a perfect place to go and share some small plates with friends - exactly what we wanted on this night. Between 3 of us we shared a cheese plate, fava bean stew, BBQ boar sliders, stuffed dates, fries, milho frito (basically a cornmeal cake with veggies and butter flavored with harissa, a Moroccan spice), and cheesecake with blood orange sauce. This restaurant is inspired by Mediterranean flavors. Everything we tried was tasty, but we all especially liked the fava bean stew, the sliders, and the stuffed dates (which were served with a blue cheese ice cream)! It's a small restaurant with a very small bar, but they are opening up a larger restaurant soon. They also serve brunch on weekends - we'll have to return and try it!"

"Very good...but not amazing! Enjoyed the Paella, but again...just average. Service was good however awkward. Moroccan lentil soup was quite tasty. Loud customers at bar made it more like a bar atmosphere in the restaurant. Big group(18)table at the back would be fun for a party though!"

"This amazing little restaurant (up a ways from the hub of Fremont) deserves more business. Great Mediterranean-style food (stuffed dates with bleu cheese ice cream!), terrific seafood paella, and an exceptional "liquid chocolate cake" for dessert. Add to that a full bar and a good wine list, two doors from the Book Larder, and you have the makings of a memorable evening. Enjoy!"

"This was our second tIme at Hunger, and it was amazIng both times. The Calamari was the best I have had, not breaded and wonderfully drenched in a rich tomato sauce. Each person we were with cleaned thier plates and raved about the food. I had the boar risotto last time and the burger the other day, both out of this world. Not kidding, the burger could be the best in town! They also make great cocktails and have a food euro wine list. Server was super friendly and punctual. All around great!"

"We went for an early Valentine's dinner, we were seated in the back room. The ambiance was lovely, the food was very good, wine list reasonable. Would definitely go back."
