Hundred RoxRox Saves Its Best for the WeekendSaturday: The meal had a very promising start with long stemmed artichokes and a very fresh Broccoli Cheese soup. The Star Anise Marinated Lamb Sirloin and Pork Chop were flavorful and so generous, there was no room for desert. We were so pleased that we returned on Sunday.
Sunday proved to be disappointing as the soup of the day, again Broccoli and Cheese, had lost it's excitement, as it was clear it was reheated and dull. The Ahi Tuna was returned to the kitchen due to a fishy taste and the Coconut Prawns were...ok. The New York Pepper Steak is recommended.
The restaurant does have a view at the end of a corridor of lodging on either side of the courtyard.
The staff was quite friendly and competent with the exception of the missing valet.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best deals in town! It's a win/win situation when you dine at Hundred Rox. We ordered a delcious grilled chicken sandwich (which comes with yummy french fries) and were seated outside under a beach umbrella with an INCREDIBLE view of one of Sedona's most popular red rock formation called Snoopy Rock. It cost us $10 each!! You cannot beat this deal!!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMNice views of Sedona rockNice views of Sedona rock formations, and creative, well done food.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch - FantasticGreat variety and brunch favorites were all excellent...endless champagne for Mother's Day was a surprise.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHundred Rox is an Amara Resort GEMThis restaurant is located at the Amara Resort. Our very romantic evening began with acoustic live music being performed to set the mood perfectly. The wine selection (great Arizona Grenache-Syrah blend) went perfectly with a delicious meal selection (highly recommend the filet). Our server was engaging and very helpful throughout the evening - cannot give him enough credit!
My girlfriend and I loved the experience, Hundred Rox was a great find (only a 'find' for us as we are first-timers to this restaurant) and we will be back!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely, quiet, out of the wayLovely, quiet, out of the way spot in busy downtown Sedona. Will try dinner next time we are in town. We walked down to the restaurant below the main street, much further than we anticipated and the staff gave us a ride back up to the main street, much appreciated.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTry the Ahi Tuna appetizer!A little bit of everything on the menu - we liked it so much we ate there twice! Everyone enjoyed their meals, start to finish !3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Easter brunch we had wasThe Easter brunch we had was outstanding! Endless champagne, quality seafood such as King Crab Legs, jumbo shrimp that was so fresh and delicious, carving station, made-to-order omelets, salads and more traditional fare also. Service was excellent, the views of the Sedona red rocks spectacular. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars was because the prime rib was aittle tough and the lox was a pale color but tasted fine.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI had a really wonderful dinnerI had a really wonderful dinner with 2 girlfriends for Easter dinner. We sat outside and had a beautiful view. The food and service were amazing and there was a wonderful woman singing and playing guitar. I will be back for sure!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a find! We stayed atWhat a find! We stayed at the Orchards Inn nestled above Amara and walked the lit pathway down to the restaurant. The restaurant is intimate and had a fantastic local songstress(Adara Blake)that immensely created a lovely romantic evening. I had the Asian salad which had great flavors- my husband stuck with the Caesar which was equally as tasty. For our entree I had the Chicken Piccata which had a lovely fresh taste and abounded wih capers whihc I love. My husband had the duck schnitzel which was perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce that had a bit of a bite to it. We had tiramisu for dessert which was the only thing not quite up to my liking. Way too big, too much whipped cream for my taste. An added bonus they shuttled us home!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
