"We spent a week in Kapa'a and this was by far the best food we ate all week. The setting was lovely - we were seated on the lanai right next to the gorgeous gardens. We loved the lobster / goat cheese wontons. My Island Fish Mixed Grill was fabulous - a great combination of flavors, perfectly prepared."

"There really are not enough words to describe Hukilau Lanai. It's our favorite restaurant when we visit Kauai and will go there a number of times each visit. Food is always outstanding. Service is great. Nice quiet atmosphere, great for a romantic evening or a family dinner. Sit on the patio if possible. If they're serving on the night you go, the Ahi is phenomenal. If Ahi isn't an option, you can never go wrong with their filet. The dressing on the Wally's salad is unique and SO good. You just can't go wrong at the restaurant. Try the "Minty Mo'o"!!"

"This was our second visit on our vacation. Unfortunately it was raining but we were still able to sit on the patio. Our waiter, Brian was great! The food was very good. We love the Wally salad and the sweet potato ravioli! If you visit Kauai, you must visit this restaurant......you need a reservation!"

"We had a great dinner at Hukilau Lanai. They have many freshly prepared dishes using local ingredients. The kids menu was good, and they have a great wine list with wines by the glass at reasonable prices (especially since you are on an island in the Pacific!). The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great view from our table. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."
