We both loved our meals and portion sizes are healthy, so we enjoyed the leftovers the next day too. All dinners come with soup or salad. We tried the clam chowder and the lobster bisque and both were delicious. Side dishes are served family style. I recommend the double baked potato for a side dish. The service was excellent and the food was great. I had a steak and cake, the steak was prepared well, nothing particularly noteworthy, but still a good steak. The crab cake on the other hand was one of the best I've had. My friend got a lobster roll which she enjoyed as well. We also tried the frog legs! They were a great experience to try once, although we didn't particularly care for them. Our one minor complaint was the soda, they serve them in the glass bottles, which is charming, but they are small and expensive. They charge for each bottle, be warned. We sat in a lovely booth in the back room which was a quieter than the front of the restaurant. The service was impeccable. Water glass was always filled, menu was explained, food tasted great and came fast. Steak was fantastic. The steak came with a soup or salad but no sides which had to be ordered separately. Sides were large though and could serve more than one person. We had the "Meaning of life" cake and we were warned it was huge and it was the biggest "piece"of cake I've ever seen. We took the uneaten portion home as a carryon on the plane and we're still enjoying it 2 days later. Wife and I were celebrating a graduation for my daughter and we were six (son and daughter with their significant others). Could not have been better. This is our fifth dinner at Frogs and always with the same results. We have done just as many at Gibson's next door, but they have not delivered quite as well despite having the same kitchen. Due to the long, 2.5 hours queue at the airport customs, we could not make it for our reserved time so I called them and within no time they rescheduled my reservation for the same night. After the starter of oysters, my wife and daughter had the chilled crab leg, huge portion of 1 pound, while I went for the Hugo's Lobster, both fantastic.... A beautiful bottle of Napa Valley Chardonnay made it complete.... We got lucky and were seated right away on a busy Saturday night. Place was packed, bar was busy. We got some drinks that were pricey but good. Food was outstanding, split a Gibsons steak and sea bass. All in all, the food and service was great, however the place was just too cramped. I noticed with our meal and another. They had to put the tray literally in the middle of the very narrow walkway so diners had to walk around it to get to the back part of the restaurant. There was live music, which is always a plus. The wait staff was outstanding. The food was fabulous. The only thing I would point out is that the dining area is quite crowded and a bit loud.
