"We never ceased to be amazed by Hudson's on the Bend. Our degustation for three was highlighted by wines exclusively from Texas wine country, and the pairings were perfect. For an all-around superb dining experience, this is Austin's diamond."

"Excellent Smoked Duck Diablos. My hot and crunchy trout was flavorful and delicious. Husband's ribeye was great. I always leave room for their desserts---turtle pie (caramel pecan pie dipped in chocolate) and pumpkin bread pudding."

"Amazing food - rattlesnake cake appetizer and elk entree were both deliciious. In fact, some of the best food I have eaten. The service was not fantastic but did not spoil a great overall experience."

"Outstanding selection of wild game. I had the alligator, crawfish crab cake, frog legs combo. Wow!
Just sitting in the bar for a drink and going home would still be a special occasion."

"Well worth the drive and money spent. My only complaint about the restaurant is the parking. Went here to celebrate my anniversary and had one of the best meals I have ever had. Started off with the pulled boar quesadilla and it was so delicious. Hubby got the mixed grill and I got the elk for entrees. I tried some things off his plate and they were yummy but my elk was better than any red meat I have had. For dessert we got the pecan pie dipped in chocolate; it was good but nothing to write home about. We will definately be going back."

"My third time at Hudson's. Love the ecclectic game-based menu and food was extraordinatry. Our server was just a tick below mediocre, however. He was a bit clueless when it came to explaining the menu, and just seemed out of it."
