"I had heard the food was a bit too salty. It was. The tempura mushrooms were awesome as was the beet salad (though a bit plain). The Thai snapper was good but the broth was too salty. It was good but not overwhelming. My daughter's hanger steak was a bit chewy- maybe because she ordered it medium instead of medium rare. My husband's lamb was fantastic. The pizzas were very good as were the desserts- the chocolate budino was yummy and the dulce de lech cookies were fresh baked, warm and amazing. Service was okay. Nice and friendly waitress but she kept forgetting things- sugar for ice tea and lemonade for my son- not really a big deal."

"Food was very good as was the service but it is the loudest restaurant I've been in. We were practically yelling at each other to be heard. I was hoarse the next day. I can't recommend it due to the noise. If you are eating alone it might be a fine."

"The rib eye steak is by far the best steak I have ever had. Enjoyed every bite with a sip of some delicious wine. Service was great and the fact I can walk here from my house is even better. The only reason I did not give the food 5 stars is because of the dessert menu. Can't really find a great dessert here. Dessert was good but not great. With that being said the food was excellent. I do not think I can go back here without getting the rib eye."

"Atmosphere was good, though not the same as before - a timing mistake on my part, as the after-dark ambiance is better.

Drinks: 1 beer ordered - local choices, red ale a nice option.

Bread/Appetizers: Good, though arugula-grapefruit salad outshined the caesar. Focaccia was very salty, which was overpowering alongside the olives. Gravalax was bit underseasoned, pea shoots were a jarring textural and taste contrast. Fortunately, knowing the taste in cheese from my companions we avoided the stronger cheeses and there were no complaints there.

Entrees: Roast chicken was moist and tender. Ribeye was a tad overcharred compared to previous visits, but still very good.

Desserts: Skipped on this visit, normally would get something."

"We came early, so were able to get a seat next to a window and away from the bar area. Even at 5:30, the bar area was becoming quite loud. Formerly Garibaldi's, this place is a little less crowded and not as frantic as before. Still, the place to be, if you wish to converse or especially if with a group, is in the room at the back, which is only open on weekends or busy nights. The food was good and the service was attentive. Very Interesting cocktails are available."
