We highly recommend making reservations using Open Table. We made our reservations 2 weeks ahead for a Saturday night dinner. The only available times were 4pm & 10pm. We decided on an early dinner. It was the best time! We walked in & was seated immediately in one of their more intimate rooms & near a fireplace. We felt at home!
As usual, the prime rib was tasty, tender, & memorable. My kids even ate & enjoyed the salad! My picky daughter, who seldom finishes her meat entrees, enjoyed every bit of her City cut size prime rib. The next time we visit SF again, we're returning again to enjoy this special dining treat!

I've been at this restaurant before and it seemed more vibrant than ever. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed with patrons. Our server was very attendant and we were able to change our order even though she took it 15 minutes earlier. Our prime rib was tasty although it was medium instead of the medium rare we requested. The manager offerred to give us another serving but by then, we were already full. The bread pudding melted in my mouth. The salad portions was too much but it was tasty. We changed our reservation from 3 to 2 people and the restaurant was very accomodating and only let us wait about 5 minutes before we were seated.

I would not call House of Prime Rib a place with outstanding food. I've eaten better beef in my life. Still, I enjoyed the waiter's performance. And the salad was very good

Went here for my wife's Birthday. We arrived 15 min early, checked in and went to the bar to get a drink. The female bartender was as rude as anybody we have seen at a high scale restaraunt.Extremely dissapointing. She never asckowledged that my wife was standing there. When she had finishing giving change to the patrons my wife asked if she could order and she said when I'm done with them. She turned around and then came back and sarcastically said Hi how are you ? When we walked away from the bar we could hear her complainning to the cocktailer about us. When we got to our table our server was excellent, the food was excellent! We would go back again just not get a drink at the bar.

Would have liked grilled mushrooms. Bacon in the Spinach was overpowering. Would have liked a Caesar salad in place of other salad. Corn muffin was so/so. Whipped butter would have been perfect. BEST PRIME RIB EVER !!!

House of Prime Rib met all of our expectations which were high. Service superior and the food was great. I wish I had been hungrier. I could only get a 4 pm reservation. Next time, I will plan better.

Food were AMAZING! Starting with the bread, salad and the side dishes. Most of all, he best "prime rib" I ever had in my life, cannot compared. I love this place. Will definetly go back for every occasions I may have. Love it!

Service was somewhat "pushy", i.e. we felt like they wanted to get rid of us as fast as possible. No nice preparation show of the salad anymore, just quickly and half absent. Prime Rib still good, but size seems to become smaller and thiner every time we come back. Additionally I got the first piece of a new junk of meat and it was not medium-rare as ordered, but well done half way through.
