I like the new spacing between tables on the north side. It is rare to see that kind of spacing these days. I would expect a good restaurant not to have background music. We waited for our sixth party member but that was the only waiting we did. The timing of everything was excellent, not rushed or lagging. The food was excellent and everybody tried something different. My inlaws from out of town loved the food and the view. One of the best I've had. loved the sauce.

It was a great experience. Recently my mother and I chose to go there for dinner and it was a wonderful experience. The salmon, trout and cioppino were flavourful and well presented. But the overall service was not as good as usual. After one cocktail, we were never asked if we'd like another , or even wine with dinner. Water and soda glasses were empty throughout the meal, the water glasses were eventually refilled after we received the bill. The only negative would be they have changed there Ling Cod recipe not to include the noodles anymore. Very disappointed about that. That menu item was a family favorite. Thank goodness they didn't do anything with the Lemon Cheesecake for dessert or it would have ruined the evening. The cheesecake was very good! Overall a very enjoyable evening, we will be back. My Mother & I were celebrating Mother's day but at the end of the meal she was never offered a coffee or dessert. The server was relieved to give us our bill & have us leave. HE WAS BEING RUN OFF HIS FEET while others sauntered around doing not much at all.
I had asked for a great table & we could see the view but we were kind of off in a corner.

The noise level was a little high, however, that could have been because it was such a busy day. When we arrived the clouds had set in, but by the time we had finished our Mother's Day Brunch the clouds were beginning to lift. We were able to get in a walk after our brunch. There is a good balance of family friendliness, group settings and spaciousness all contributing to an enjoyable ambience. The food, wine selection, and service were very good. As with most restaurants, they allow little kids in, which I abhor, but they were nice enough to relocate us away from a table that had a high chair in front of it. Very much appreciated.
You can't beat the view, especially at sunset, which is why we chose to get married on the mountain. The place is quiet, clean and respectful, which is very nice.
Food at our wedding dinner seemed better than at our anniversary dinner, although the halibut wrapped in prosciutto was divine. The deserts were really great and the drinks were good as well.

Horizons went out of its way to accommodate me with a few special requests. The birthday girl was genuinely surprised. The staff were friendly, courteous and saw to every needs of my party. We all had a great time. We went with a la carte brunch instead of all you can eat brunch buffet as the buffet itself only had a few choices and not great for people with dietary restrictions.
