Everything was great. The noise level was a little high, however, that could have been because it was such a busy day. When we arrived the clouds had set in, but by the time we had finished our Mother's Day Brunch the clouds were beginning to lift. We were able to get in a walk after our brunch. We were unfortunately seated next to a large party so it was a bit louder than we would have preferred. Next time, I'll be sure to reserve a quiet table down by the windows (better view and below the noise of the larger parties). The strong West Coast influence, evident in the menu; the great perspective of neighboring Vancouver complete with cityscape, water, mountains and the sunset, continue to make "Horizons" a favorite location for us.
There is a good balance of family friendliness, group settings and spaciousness all contributing to an enjoyable ambience. The food, wine selection, and service were very good. Setting is amazing. this is my favourite place for special occasions or brunch. Eggs like clouds in heaven and a Bernaze sauce that was giddieness in sauce form. Horizons went out of its way to accommodate me with a few special requests. The birthday girl was genuinely surprised. The staff were friendly, courteous and saw to every needs of my party. We all had a great time. We went with a la carte brunch instead of all you can eat brunch buffet as the buffet itself only had a few choices and not great for people with dietary restrictions.
