Hopmonk Tavern- NovatoAlways a family favoriteWe've been to Hopmonk three times since they opened and have enjoyed each visit. The menu is varied, the food is delicious and consistent and the service is efficient and friendly. They even made a decent bourbon old fashioned, no easy feat to find these days. The service was great for the first half of dinner, but then declined. The waiter truly needs to make more eye contact when running around. We waited quite awhile for our bill and to go boxes. We were pleasantly surprised by their open patio design, large tables for groups and extensive beer menu. We had fun sampling several beers, had good pub food and had a fabulous time at the music show. There are 3 large flat screen TV's that are crystal clear - the music that was playing in the restaurant made perfect background music for a game. The dessert portions could be shared with 4 people. We did not realize this until 3 desserts arrived for 4 people. we liked it in there so we ate dinner in the bar area. Food was really good, however the steak was pre cut in pieces
