Only thing I would suggest to change would be to have more variety of desserts to select from. The cooking was amazing. We sat at the bar and very much enjoyed watching "Aeron" and the others do thier thing. Loved the pinnapple ravioli for dessert! The soup had a delicate sweet edge that nicely accented the acid from the tomatoes, and the texture was divine. There were sunflower seeds sprinkled in the soup that really enhanced the flavor and textural experience. The burger was juicy and tender and flavorful, and the cherries really set off the meatiness of the lamb. I couldn't have enjoyed it more. We had the Big Taste menu and nothing disappointed - the soup was delish and the burger with the bleu cheese was amazing. Excellent again! We had a salad, 4 sharing plates, 3 entrees, and 2 deserts between the 4 of us, and left perfectly satisfied. Content but not stuffed. Home tasting does just that. I had the parsnip soup to start and the bison tartar as my main. Everything was unbelievable. I eat gluten free and they had the softest and most delicious gluten free bread to go with my bison tartar. Our server was efficient, polite, and came around at the perfect time. The staff made sure to accommodate a quick lunch hour which is sometimes hard to find at upscale Calgary restaurants. We sat at the bar and watched everything being prepared which made it tough to decide what we wanted as it all looked excellent. Went with the lamb burger which was by far the best I've ever had. I had gnocchi with mushrooms, scallops with pumpkin puree and lamb burger. Everything was done just right, burger was juicy and delicious. It's a very nice, cozy place with acceptable price range. I always recommend it to my friends and visit this restaurant for lunch or dinner quite often. It has never been a disappointment. Oysters to begin, scallops and tartare shared, arctic char and petite tenderloin to follow, with a chocolate moose to finish. Every bite perfect from beginning to end. Our server was also great, sincere and genuine, not false and nauseating like some can be. The service was excellent, the food was top notch!! No wonder this restaurant was rated top 10 in Calgary. We have dined at some of the other restaurants on the top 10 list and not sure why this one wasn't rated number 1. Certainly far superior then some of the other restaurants listed!!

The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, the food was great and the ambience was fine and modern. Would definitely go back for the gnocchi and bison tartar appetizers and the arctic char and lamb shoulder mains. Food is amazing, i recommend the oysters, then a sharing plate for each person at the table, but all share. Even the lunch menu is really good- had the chicken sandwich with 'greens' and the mac and cheese. both were delicious, and pricing is comparable to other places on 8th that are of lower quality. Great patio location, gets the sun where TD (Met, Earls) does not yet, as lower buildings, North side of the ave as well. Had frois gras sliders and bison tar tar for api, and both were fantastic.
Had the pulled pork sandwich as main and as simple as it looked, it had amazing flavour (could have used a more interesting bun/bread and presentation so it did not appear so pedestrian). Everyone else at the table really enjoyed their fare.
The server was below average. She came back and check on if she had remembered our orders correct, and they were completely wrong. I had a 1/4 of a beer left in the bottle and she cleared it from the table.
