A word from Holsteins - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Holsteins is an exciting burger concept from Las Vegas restaurateurs Billy Richardson, and Chef Anthony Meidenbauer of Block 16 Hospitality. This concept was tailor-made for The Cosmopolitan with an emphasis on fresh, natural and organic ingredients. Holsteins brings better burgers and a funky, homegrown attitude to The Strip. The menu features specialty burgers, house-made sausage, riffs on traditional American snacks and appetizers, as well as a wide variety of shakes and sides. All items are custom crafted in-house, creating burgers unlike any other. Put an adult spin on the traditional shake with a “Bamboozled Shake”, unique flavors infused with premium liqueurs and spirits. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "This place is home of the best burger I've ever eaten, the El Machete burger. Terrific food. Portions are plentiful and prices are reasonable for the area (I.E. not reasonable, per se, but on par with everywhere else). Some very creative and delicious deserts and a massive beer menu as well. Ate here when I was in Vegas a few years ago, and made a point of coming back this summer when we came back to town."

  • "We have been to this restaurant twice and both times the food was great and the service was excellent! We love the casual environment and all of the yummy food choices. The service is always very good and the servers are very attentive and friendly. We will go back again and we have recommended this place to many of our friends."

  • "Both my wife and I had a taste for a milkshake with actual lunch being a secondary goal. The shakes were great and the burger we shared excellent. The French fries could have been a bit more crisp. Highly recommend Holsteins for lunch."

  • "Unfortunately not all it's hyped up to be. Good beers, wine and shake selections. But three of us that had three different burgers were not impressed. Fries were not all that either. I recommend trying another spot."

  • "Good open for casual dining. A lot of unsual burger options, works for pick eaters or foodies. Will vvisit again."

  • "Best burgers ever and out of this world milkshakes!"

  • "Very good choice of burgers and regional brewed ales. Good value for money and efficient service."

  • "A load of atmosphere- fun evening out , with good choices in burgers and drinks. The alcoholic milk shakes are a meal in themselves!"

  • "Don't compare this to any burger joint. This is burger dining. Prepared exactly the way you want it , Holsteins delivers the juiciest burgers and fries. Drink the adult shakes at your own risk. Mac and cheese are a must share."

  • "Our first visit and we were not disappointed. The burgers were tasty with fresh ingredients. The shakes were also tasty and included alcohol on request. Our server was friendly and helpful. We shall return."

  • "We wanted to try something different than the food we were getting at the conference and burgers seemed to be the right choice. Great classic burgers and Memphis burger were had by the table. The fried pickles were great and the chipotle ranch side for dipping was excellent. The onion rings were awesome too. The sweet potato fries were a little bit soggy, as were the regular fries. We regretted not getting shakes to go, next time we won't make that mistake."

  • "I had to set up a business lunch meeting. I reviewed the menus at all the restaurants within the Cosmo and thought Holstein's looked reasonable. That is, until they set the food down in front of us. Small portions. Three of us got the lobster roll which included coleslaw. The coleslaw came out in a tiny half-dollar size salsa cup and took three forkfuls to finish. The lobster rolls were two small dinner rolls with no more that two tablespoons of lobster "salad" in each. The fourth person in our group had a shake for $9, beef sliders for $13 which were three tiny sliders a cup of fries and she added cheese($2) and shoestrings($3). Her total was $27 for 3 tiny burgers and a shake. Total was $95 w/tip and that's with 3 of us having water."

  • "The Nom-Nom Burger was the best burger I've ever had in my life. Seriously."

  • "First, it was LOUD! So loud that you had to raise your voice just to be heard by your friends. That's not an energized scene, that's chaos. Second, my waitress gave me attitude when I asked for shoe string fries. I looked at their menu before hand online, and, on the web, it said they offered them: they do not anymore. Third, the "adult" shakes seemed like they had no alcohol at all. We ordered 3 among the 4 of us so we could try the others. Only one shake had noticeable alcohol in it. I'm a lightweight, so I can tell when it is there. It was not in two of them. Finally, the prices seem reasonable, but $4 for a coke?! And everything was an up charge. Not worth the hassle of getting there."

  • "I remember when this place first opened and they actually had amazing food. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill and the prices seem to be going up. Holsteins used to have delicious shoe string fries, but now they serve you soggy regular fries. You can seriously get better fries at any fast food place. The "adult" shakes are a joke and only have a drop of alcohol. Also, the meat is not as thick and juicy as it once as. Alas, Holsteins is no longer on my Vegas "must-do" list. If you're looking for a good place to eat, skip Holsteins and go to Margaritaville. "

  • "The burgers are the best on the strip (which is high praise when Burger Bar, BurGR, and BLT are right there), and the boozy milkshakes are amazing. Beer list isn't bad, either."

  • "We shared the steakhouse burger and added smoked bacon, it was glorious! I eat one burger per month and I want it to be a good one. I'm glad we shared because I would not have been able to comfortably eat the whole thing but would have to because of the price. It was special, creamy steak sauce, Carmelized onions, sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese. My husband loved the strawberry shake with real whipped cream, very rich. It was a "pulp fiction" Shake, and since it was his birthday, he was very pleased with everything! Nice time in Vegas!"

  • "The Kobe beef burger was delicious as was our buffalo chicken dip, but the staff brought our burgers out literally five minutes after getting our app. Way too quick. The fries were also soggy. "

  • "Great food and great service. I had the pork belly sliders and they were tasty."

  • "By far the best burgers in Vegas! Hopping bar scene and great service. Wings are perfect appetizers to start the evening. Tiny burgers are actually 3 sliders but delicious regardless. Big burgers are actual size burgers that are heavenly. Been to Vegas 3 times and I always return to Holsteins for either dinner or lunch. Great place for kids, family, friends, and practically all ages! Don't miss out on the best burgers on the Strip in Vegas! "

  • "We arrived a touch early to our reservations. No other parties were waiting and the family we happened to arrive simultaneously with did not make a reservation. They sat that party first, ultimately having us wait around till just after our reservation. I thought to myself, "why make a reservation if a walk up takes precedence?". I understand we walked up simultaneously, but we went out of our way to make reservations (no matter how busy you were). I understand this May seem petty, but I couldn't help but shake my head. Also our server was polite, but didn't aid in making any decisions. Being our first experience with no idea where to begin, more than "we're known for burgers and shakes" would have been nice. Good Food saved the experience"

  • "Holstein's always surprises me. I usually hate trying something new as I like to enjoy what I already know, but everything on the menu is outstanding. I've had The Rising Sun and Lobster/Steak Quesadilla. Would gladly eat both again. My favorite shake is The Black Cow. I can never stray from it! Also, I was late for this reservation, but when I called the hostess was more than accommodating! "

  • "I enjoyed everything about Holstein's. The popcorn was yummy and a nice change from the typical chips or bread. I got a Brown Cow Bamboozled Shake and the meatball burger. My bf got the gold standard and we split the sausage and peppers potstickers. The meatball burger was amazing. I have a low tolerance for grease so I ended up trading with my bf. That burger was good too. We both liked the taste of the meatball burger better. The potstickers were SOOOOO good. Our waiter was so nice and attentive and I really liked the decor. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

  • "The country friend bacon was incredible--this is how bacon should always be served! I was surprised they didn't have it on a burger...disappointed actually. Seems like it would make a great addition I any burger! Burgers were good but not the best I've ever had. S'mores Shake was incredible!!"

  • "Yummy twists on classic bar foods such as nachos, wings, tacos, and more. The Buffalo Chicken Dip is amazing and the Memphis BBQ Pulled Pork burger was one of the best I've had. Tip: If you are going to dine late at night, they have a DJ, which is cool, but it makes it almost impossible to talk to your friends."

  • "My girlfriend and I fell in love with everything from beginning to end! 1) Valet was on top of their game. 2) With open table we were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentitive. NOW LETS TALK BURGER! The sunrise burger had the right amount of teriyaki not to overpower the beef. OMG the beef was melt in your mouth. I found myself smiling and swinging my feet because the combination of flavors in my mouth made me so happy. I would definitly use open table cause that place was busy! An overall awesome experience."

  • "With so many burger joints popping up all over the place you would think Holsteins was just another one but they are not! I took some friends that were Vegan's and they also loved the place."

  • "Some blogger said it's the best in town. It was pretty darn good. We liked it better than Burger Bar, which wasn't too shabby either. And surprisingly, I really liked the fried pickles."

  • "They have a nice variety of burgers which are very tasty. Great shakes as well. Fries could have been better. Our waitress never offered us a dessert menu, although we were too full for desserts anyways."

  • "We did a burger tour of Vegas and Holsteins had the best hands down. Better than Gordon Ramsey's Burgr, which was not bad but not stellar. Also had the Thai steak salad, which was very good but would have liked the steak to be a little rarer, something that sounded like couldn't be accommodated at the time of order. My only complaint. Huge selection of shakes with or without alcohol. We had the Drunken Monkey - highly recommend if you like peanut butter cups and bananas. Extensive beer list and full bar."

  • "Really high prices. We went based on sir burger being on TV. My husband ordered it and asked for it well done, it came pink. The manager was very apologetic, but really awkward about it. She asked if there was anything she could do...like how about offering a new burger? Then she asked what we were drinking instead of offering to buy us a round. We felt weird saying "could you buy us a round of drinks and a new burger"? I had the lobster roll. The portion size was a joke for the price, and the taste was meh. But, my husband did they the burger was really good."

  • "This was my second visit to Holsteins with my mom, and we both ordered the Lobster rolls this time. While she had hers with onion rings, I stuck with the delicious fries. These are my absolute favorite version of Lobster rolls ever, and I will be back. The waiter recommended a drink that I thoroughly enjoyed, and he was very knowledgeable about the ingredients for the food and the drinks. I find that very satisfying in a restaurant. I enjoy the restaurant, the waitstaff, the atmosphere and the delicious food! I will be back..."

  • "Had a nice meal consisting of three appetizers: onion rings, mini Chicago dogs, and truffle mac and cheese. All were very good, definitely all that was needed for the two of us. Finished our meal with a crème brulee milk shake, and it was outstanding. It was more than enough for two, real ice cream, just delightful. They have a wide variety of shakes, can't wait to try another. A pleasant evening with good service."

  • "During our stay in Vegas we had a few burgers and this was by far the best, the hard shakes and beer list are awesome too, I wouldn't come here to talk though as the bar and club opposite make it quite loud"

  • "It's got great burgers. There seemed to be some misunderstanding on the part of wait staff about the difference between Kobe and wagyu. It's a hopping place and I tasted a milkshake that seemed pretty tasty. The Greeek burger was very good but a bit on the salty side...that didn't keep me from finishing it though."

  • "Very very good. We got there the hostess saud they dont take reservations usually so we were very lucky to get one. She still honored the reservation even though they are more of a walk-in dining option and I see why cause this place is PACKED all the time a job well done to the staff from management down to the busser and the hostesses holding down the jam packed door!! We frequent the cosmopolitian and will defenently be back for bugers and adult milk shakes:)"
