"The food was excellent, as usual - but the side portions were very small for the price, and we had to ask for more rice. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it was very busy and so the service was a bit slow ... they seemed under-staffed for a Saturday. Overall, a good experience though."

"Hogfish was good! Was there for lunch but had been there a few times before. Food is great, although the onion soup is too salty and not enough cheese. Fish Tacos were excellent.
All in all a good experience. I now want to try dinner there."

"Hogfish is a small, quiet, relaxing restaurant with great service and a cheerful staff. The theme of the restaurant reminds you of a tropical scene, since the hogfish is abundant in warm waters. The seafood, including the hogfish, snapper, salmon, is fresh and prepared well often with a tropical fruit salsa. Most dishes include rice and a vegetable. I would definitely recommend it!"

"The fish was fresh and well prepared. There were many excellent seafood choices available, and the calamari appetizer was one of the best I ever had. I had a yellowtail fish sandwich for lunch and it was simply delicious. Dinner was great and the service was professional. This place is a gem."

"We're new to the neighborhood and we are trying out all the restaurants in the area. I have to say we had low expectations for this place, and I'm glad to say we were totally wrong. We found the Hogfish Bar & Grill has great food, a nice beer list (didn't check out the wines -- next time) and a surprisingly compact, comfortable, cozy, almost quaint atmosphere. The service was great, too. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Very, very Good! Saw the sign for the Hogfish while I was driving by, I told my two business associates to meet me there. We all loved it, very nice comfortable atmophere, great fresh shellfish, oysters, mussels, the Hogfish dish was great. Wait staff at the bar and the tables very friendly and great service, Try it out!"
