A word from Hofbrauhaus - Las Vegas
The Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is the first authentic German-Bavarian restaurant in Las Vegas. The restaurant is the first replica of the world’s most famous beer hall from its hand-painted ceilings to its food and drink. The beer is brewed in Munich under the 400-year-old purity law and shipped fresh to Las Vegas. Hofbräu draft beers are: premium lager, wheat beer, dark beer and seasonal beers. Bavarian charm and live music abound, and guests can savor schnitzels, sausages, Sauerbraten and pretzels. With its beer hall and air-conditioned Biergarten (beer garden), it’s Oktoberfest every day. Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas also features live music nightly. In addition, take-out service is available. Groups are invited, and Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas can accommodate parties up to 1,000. • "This is a great place to be entertained while eating. The food is very good. The band gets the patrons involved in their music. We go whenever we are in Vegas."

  • "The food was great, would be nice to allow substation, i.e. potatoes instead of noodles. Service was outstanding."

  • "My companion is from Germany. When the waitress arrived he said "Guten Tag" (good day). She just looked at him and didn't even smile. Her message was very clear without saying a word that she had no intention of understanding what "Guten Tag" meant. It set the stage in a negative way for our dinner, but we both chose to ignore the unfriendliness of this individual. We focused on the band. They made everyone feel welcome and to join in the spirit of the German culture. All waitresses should know how to greet guests at Hofbrauhaus with a simple Guten Tag. It takes a great deal for me to complain about something. To make matters worse, she was training a new waitress. We will come back and I hope we do not have the same waitress."

  • "Eight dollar beers! Rip off - advertized a 9.99 special , but when asked for , no longer available. potato pancakes were fair food. the potato salad was a joke. this place sucks."

  • "We had a group of 6 for dinner most of us had not been to the Hofbrauhaus as we entered the place felt alive with excitement, we were immediately seated at a nice group table. The main dining room was full and the place was alive with noise and good vibrations. We were approached momentarily for drinks by our waitress who was dressed in a sexy cute appropriate uniform. The waitress introduced herself and proceeded to recommend appetizers and other items. After a little time to drink some great beer we ordered a sampler platter of sausages and pretzels. We then ordered dinner which come out hot and delicious. All the time the house band played popular music mixed with German sounds. One of the owner's Klause came by introduced himself ."

  • "A Bavarian beer hall atmosphere without the long flight to Munich or waiting for Octoberfest to roll around."
    Dined on 6/26/2014
  • "The Sauerbraten tasted almost as good as my Grandmother's! The entertainment and beer were also good."

  • "For a German a proud to be there and drink a great beer. The food is typical Bavarian , with a little touch from America."
    Dined on 6/23/2014
  • "it was good that they gave a military discount, bad that it was just for food and for just the military member who was paying the entire tab. For a great locals benefit, the All American Bar and Grill at the Rio is the best deal 25% on the entire bill off of one ID."

  • "This is a boisterous place with great food. I took my family here after a very long car trip heading from Utah to California. The food was excellent, but pricey. The crowd was loud and rowdy, and got progressively louder with the band's cajoling. Please note that many of the patrons (mostly men) are coaxed into being spanked on their backside by a wooden plank-wielding server. This can be a lot of fun as a spectator to watch but make for a very uncomfortable conversation if you bring little ones."

  • "We had a choice of large dining area with band or quieter beer garden (indoor & a /c). Food was good but they didn't 't allow changes of sides. Excellent server. The main dining area was boisterous & fun with singing. Good time."

  • "Good food, great HB beer, excellent atmosphere and service. Second visit there in 3 weeks, very enjoyable with friends."

  • "I have been there a few times before and it's pretty consistent. However, the day we went, it was extremely noisy in the garden due to the world cup, which is totally understandable. We also ended up with a long black hair in our caesar salad. Totally grossed us out. They made a new salad but it took forever to get it. Def not the waitresse's fault, but I would have comped the salad and had a manager acknowledge the issue."

  • "I'm here with 9 others for meetings and I chose the Hofbrauhaus because of my German heritage. The place was fun, great food and great beer. Everyone needs to do a shot!"

  • "Service was fine, beer was very good, ambience-noisy and lots of fun, just like a beer hall should be. Food was good except that we were served instant mashed potatoes. For the price of the meals, and for the quality meats, this restaurant should be ashamed to serve instant anything. Real and fresh potatoes would have made a world of difference. 3 man band enjoyed themselves, which helped make us enjoy their music and antics. Great atmosphere, but the instant potatoes will keep me from recommending this restaurant. Expensive appetizers and sides. Limited and expensive desserts. Sauerkraut would have been good, but it was cooked to death, and very little came with the meal."

  • "Food was bland and tasteless! Atmosphere was noisy and entertainment was bad. It was what I would immagine German cafeteria food would resemble! Service was ok but it felt like it was scripted."
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "Fun place for groups. The band was excellent, energetic and entertaining. The food was good, not great and the beer pricey, but the atmosphere was fun and helped make up for the higher price tag."

  • "Forget the snooty celebrity-chef restaurants of the strip. For a great meal (and a great time), come here instead. Get ready to eat like a German, which is to say, eat meat and potatoes. The menu is heavy on these items (pardon the pun). The real attraction is eating in the beer hall, which accommodates over 1000 people. I've eaten here several times. At lunchtime, when it is empty, the vibe is very low-key. At dinner when the room is full, it is a party. Order a shot and get paddled by the waitresses. The band members will stand on your table and play. Not at…on. Don't expect an extensive drink list. They only carry Hofbrau brand beer, which is pretty good in its own right. Good food, good beer, good time. I can't wait to eat there again."

  • "The food was good the waitress was outstanding and we really enjoyed it. My father in law said as soon as he walked in he felt like he was back in Germany. He really enjoyed it. We will be back soon. :-)"

  • "Great place to eat and listen to music. I enjoyed the food and drink but a bit too loud to chat with friends."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "Love the Hofbräuhaus for good times, good food, and great beer. Only negative is the waitress trying to push the merchandise when we went to pay our tab. I told her three times no thank you as I have already bought stuff from their gift shop in the past and don't need more. It took three very stern no thank you's to finally get her to accept the fact that I'm not buying more stuff from their gift shop. Still love the place and will not let that incident stop me from going back."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "With a beer garden you would think they had a big selection of beer but they had only one brand. The food looked good but did not have the wonderful German flavor that I expected. The food was very bland. The building is very interesting inside and out and looked the part, if only the food and beer was better."

  • "We loved the energetic, loud, fun atmosphere, perfect for the guys's birthday dinner. The food was fantastic and our waitress, Michelle, was very accommodating and on top of her game with how busy the restaurant was. Would recommend this place to anyone!"

  • "Having been to the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich, it was a definite treat to see that I could enjoy this Bavarian German gem right in Las Vegas! From the authentic ambience and live German music to the delicious food, much of what my Oma used to make when I would visit her in the Munich area, it completely took me back to Germany! And the beer! Ausgeseichnet!!! There is nothing like a good German beer! My last visit even included a surprise (a shot of schnapps and a spanking, ordered by my friends)! The Hofbräuhaus is a "must do" when in Las Vegas (or Munich). "

  • "Went here with my family which includes two girls she's ten and twelve. We've been to the original haus in Munich a couple of times. This is not the same atmosphere or music, but the food is spot on. My jagerschniztel was awesome! I highly recommend for a good time in Vegas. "

  • "I bring my husband here every year for his birthday. The first time it was fun (although I personally do not like the food). This last time we were sat in the beer garden, lots of screaming children, and the tables were awful... I ordered the Chef Salad...Don't Do it... My drink was expensive and short poured... Was not impressed.... It is geared for tourists... We will try café berlin next time..."

  • "My wife's been trying to get me to go to this place off the strip for years. We finally went with her parents. I can't recommend this place enough. I wish we had one in Santa Monica. This place is a blast. The beer is good and comes in one liter steins. The food is also great. And the atmosphere is electric. So much fun. I will go there every time I'm in Vegas and take everyone I can to partake in a raucous evening if great food, great beer and fun. Cheers!"

  • "Authentic German food, prepared as it is in Germany. The Jaeger Schnitzel was very good, as was the Schweinhaxen , which was a special for that day. Dessert was nussstrudedl, again verygood. Entertainment was good, similar to what we experienced in Munich."

  • "I spent 7 years in Germany when I was in the US Air Force. I really have missed eating German food, and enjoying that dining atmosphere. The Hofbrauhaus took me back to those great times. The food here is fantastic and it is sooooo much fun to be here. It is truely a dining experience of a lifetime."

  • "overall excellent experience but a few comments: (a) food portions very small (b) Food came to fast we didn't get to enjoy the fun of the music before are food was sitting in front of us."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed the very authentic atmosphere with the "Alpenlauser" musicians doing an excellent job entertaining the guests and making sure veryone had fun singing along. The food was very good and the sevice friendly and efficient. With the communal seating arrangement one can interact with other guests - we had very nice and entertaining folks at our table and all of this contributed to a fun evening."

  • "The doors to the dining hall transports you to to Octoberfest in Germany. Live music, beer steins, and good food. It was loud, but not so much that I still couldn't talk to my party. There is even a cute gift shop. "
