The food was good and had several options from different countries. Not all desserts were available but we were too full anyway. Service was very good as well and servers were very accommodating.

Went for lunch it was pretty quiet. The food was very eclectic but we enjoyed it very much. Will be back soon. The cricket concept was cool too.

We were visiting from California, looking for a restaurant that our vegan son and his "I like my fish and meat plain" Grandpa could both enjoy their meal. We hit a home run (or whatever the cricket equivalent of that is). The theme was fun and cricket was on the big screens. Cocktail menu was inventive, almost every dish was delicious (the potato sliders were a little too much carb on carb, the boiled peanuts were a revelation) and the servers were friendly and attentive.

  • Food Good, but...

The food seemed authentic and there was a nice variety of items on the menu, both food and beverage. The restaurant was extremely loud, even though it was nearly empty. We could hear nearly every word from a table on the other side of the room and the TV volume (Celtics game) was very loud. Service started out slow, but got better.

We went as a large group for brunch. The food was decent, for those who managed to eat. We were there for > 2 hrs, and despite ordering early, people got their food very, very slowly. Some got theirs after 1.5 hrs of watching others eat. Some did not get it at all. The server kept apologizing for the delay and mix-up, but one would think that they could have fixed this mix-up in over 2 hours! They also messed up the check, but managed to put a nice gratuity at the end.. I think that this place may be ok for drinks, but I don't think we are going back any time soon. It's a shame - we were psyched about a cricket place, but terribly disappointed with our experience.

When we arrived, about 7pm the restaurant was mostly empty. We ordered appetizers (okra, calamari & beet salad). All arrived quickly and were tasty. Then we waited for our meals. And waited. It took at least 30 mins before our entrees showed up. My 6 year old was starving by the time her mac-n-cheese came; the dish was not worth the wait. While the sauce was creamy, there was almost no cheese taste. We had more luck with the adult entrees which were great (meat pie, sandwich, smoked fish, kebab). We could think of 2 reasons for the long delay - the restaurant filled up and they were understaffed or one of the dishes took an exceptionally long time to prepare (in which case they should warn customers) - but were never offered an explanation.

We went as a group of 4 to the restaurant on a Friday. The atmosphere was great, staff was friendly bit not very knowledgeable about the food. The specials menu was misprinted and I did not get what I ordered. When asked about this the staff simply told me that the menu was incorrect. I felt if this was the case, they should have informed what the actual dish was while I was placing the order. The food was good. My friend ordered the banana chips which came out extremely oil and had to be sent back. Apart from that, everything else tasted pretty good.

I've enjoyed the novel and tasty menu, friendly service, and cricket-themed decor every time I've visited. The cocktails are fun and unusual, and my friends enjoyed the beer choices. Servers will answer any questions you will probably have about the menu. The owner even took time to explain and answer questions about cricket during a less-crowded visit. I may become a fan. Meanwhile I keep returning and introducing the place to new people.

Marketed and decorated beautifully with cricket paraphernalia, it is more than cricket; we understand they show all sporting events. The food is good. Some items can be misleading, e.g. 'bangers & mash' is not typical of what one would find in England - has more of an Indian touch.

Despite the quirky premise (cricket anyone?), the concept of featuring the flavors of former colonies who still love cricket is interesting. Still, it has to deliver. Since there are lots of smallish dishes, we tried a lit of them, and all but one was even better than advertised. Even the exception was good, just not great (I'm looking at you, Sundried Crisps). Get the stuff others have recommended, then add the Bangla Smoked Fish. I'll be back whenever I'm in Inman Square.

We were quite disappointed by the food - not authentic at all. In fact the same curry kept recurring in different dishes.
