Historic Revere TavernGoodLancaster diningGreat ambiance, good food, central location and stay there to make an easy night after a very busy day5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day DinnerMy family and I chose this restaurant, because the location was halfway between our home and my son's home. We all had a great meal; our waitress was phenomenal; we highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. I also loved the history...5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the BestTry this place, it's one of the best places to eat that we have found.
It reminds us of our all time best spot in Williamsburg Va. take the time to visit this tavern ( Historic Revere Tavern ).5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Ambience -- Great FoodLovely restaurant in an old colonial home. Wonderful ambience, nice fireplace (although not operating at this time of year). Linen tablecloths/napkins. Nice wine list -- reasonably priced. Food was great -- we ordered the Snapper Turtle soup (delicious), Crabcakes were out of this world -- mostly lump crabmeat +++, stuffed shrimp was good too. House salad is included with meal and entrée comes with chef's vegetable (ours was snap peas) and fingerling potatoes. We didn't have room for dessert5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat placeWe've been to Revere Inn many times and have never been disappointed.Keep up the good work.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love the Revere TavernWe would recommend this restaurant to people that are looking for good food and some history5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent ChoiceWhen we arrived we saw a wedding party going into one of the private rooms and we thought "Oh no. this will take forever". However we were seated immediately ahead of others who had not made reservations and promptly attended to by our server. The food came at a nice pace and was delicious -- from appetizer through dessert! This is always our "go to" restaurant when we are in Lancaster. Prices are a normal, atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is very courteous and pleasant. All the tables in the room we were in on Saturday and it was a little noisy but other than that -- a wonderful experience once again!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always really enjoy thisWe always really enjoy this tavern when we pass through Lancaster. The menu is varied and appealing and the staff are always delightful.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMDining with HistoryIn search of historic places to visit in the area, The Revere Tavern was recommended to me by a friend. My experience there was everything I'd hoped and more. With history written into every stone and tile, it felt like I might have stepped back in time. The ambiance was lovely, the service was perfect and the food was superb. When I discovered there was a fire burning in the original big stone fireplace in the bar, I just had to sit for awhile and enjoy it. My drink was as good as my supper. Wonderful place to spend an evening. I WILL be back.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was the second time weThis was the second time we have been to the Revere tavern, while visiting the Amish country. It was a fantastic experience both times. On our most recent visit, we couldn't stop raving about the food. I had the best crab cake ever- it was all crabmeat, NO filler! My husband and I shared a special dinner for two that included soup, salad, filet mignon(which was perfect) with either shrimp, scallops, or crabcake. The value of this meal was incredible, but each course was perfectly prepared and delicious. The service couldn't have been better. Wish we lived closer- this would be a regular stop for us!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, courteous serviceGreat food, courteous service (with a SMILE), and an ambience that couldn't be beat! We'll be back.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe get there once a year aroundWe get there once a year around our anniversary and always find it very good for food and service.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMHistoric tavern with stoneHistoric tavern with stone walls and high ceilings give a rustic charm to the dining experience at an affordable price. Nice, quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The food is tasty and there is a pleasing variety of entrees. I will definitely return for another meal.
