Had a great time! the food was excellent for the style. The service was good even if a little slow. Which was OK with us. The noise level was too high for good conversation down a table with 10 people. We went back again on Sunday the 29th and the noise level as well as the crowd was down. Again it was slow service, but we were not in a hurry.

  • With a history.

Visited on a Friday night, around 8 PM. Not crowded at all, Nothing gourmet here, mostly variations on pub food, but decently prepared, came out quickly, and, with attentive, friendly service. I didn't try the bar area, which appeared to be more intimate than the dining area, and quiet. You could have a nice conversation in there. . I had the fish and chips,, still a bit heavy on the batter for my tastes, but generous. The online menu hadn't been updated as of my visit on the 13th, several changes to it, but my waitress saw that as a to-do.
