Two recommandations though: you need more than a one bathroom and take Menage a Trois off of you wine list. That wine is garbage for suce a fine restaurant. We will be back at least once a month!"

  • "We first stopped in the bar while we waited for our reservation. we stood at the bar 10 minutes before being served. Carmella was are waitress at first she was great and then all of a sudden she had a poor attitude towards us. She even told us that we could not have any more drinks and was very snooty .We ordered are food around 8:15 or so and finally called a manager over to ask where i food was at about 10:15 and Michael manager said he didn't know what had happened to our food but he comped us our dinners and then he served us drinks.(we paid for those) if Michael had not been there to fix the error that are waitress made we would have been there with nothing to eat. I will never eat there again. The manager Michael did a fantastic job"

  • "The filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were cheesy [in a positive way] and also cooked to just the right tenderness. The service is attentive yet not smothering. We prefer to dine in the bar, it has more atmosphere, probably due to the lower ceiling than the main room. We must be right, because the bar seating was full long before the main room filled up. The only flaw is the Caesar salad, the presentation is wonderful but the taste is rather blah. Next time I'll opt for the iceberg wedge. The salad is a minor blip in an otherwise outstanding meal experience."

The wine list is amazing - with a price range equally amazing. Our server was attentive and helpful, and when she learned that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary a wonderful dessert to share appeared at our table after the meal - chocolate something or other that was divine. Really. With "Happy Anniversary" written on it, in chocolate! The menu is long and varied - something for any palate. Couldn't have been better."

  • "We love the food at High Steaks but the service is terribly frustrating, especially when you are paying so much to eat there. Many times we have had to wait over 20 minutes just to get a menu. Even though we order before others around us are sat, they always get their food before us. We have to leave our table and go to the bar to order drinks half the time just so we can get service. The last time we went we made a reservation, and we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated and they offered us nothing. The food is really good but I am having a hard time getting my husband to go back as the service is awful and there aren't any apologies or compensation for our lack of service."

  • "We had a 7pm reservation. Ours was a gift dinner and show. Our first contact was with a young hostess at the reservation desk. We were a little early, but there many open tables. The hostess said in not a very friendly tone "were running right on time, you'll be seated at 7. After sitting in the bar for 15 min., I went to the desk again about our table. She said it would be 5 min. We went back to the bar and waited another 15 min. before being seated. The restaurant still had many open tables. Our waitress asked it we were going to the show. When we told her we were she said she would hurry things up and she did. I would not expect to be treated like this by a hostess in a coffee shop let alone a dinner house. My compliments to our waitress"
