"Casual and very friendly vibe; comfortable; food-serious; professional. multi-grain soft and chewey bread to start is perfect alone but one must try it with the french butter...hint of orange and salt. fried oysters were greaseless; wonderfully crispy and served with a tangy remoulade made with herbes fine...eat slowly and savor. line caught fluke and shrimp was a lovely presentation of perfectly cooked fish and two stellar shrimp fragranted with leek, garlic and thyme and served with a gold potato gratin. At the bottom of the entree list is a gem not to be missed....chive risotto; meltingly creamy rice, cheese and chives, was the definition of a perfect risotto! Oh...don't forget to ask chef Matt for his cucumber/elder flower intermezzo"

"everything could of been very good on all aspects of this restaurant,but the service. My party wasn't finished with their apertizers when the waiters almost pulled the plate out from under. Then asked if we were down. Again, main entrees,rushed again. Too bad they rushed us and we were the last seating of the night,no one was waiting for tables!"

"I have to admit the hostess ruined our experience as soon as we walked in the door. We had a 7pm reservation for two. We arrived ten minutes early and we were seated only after the hostess informed us that there was an 8:30 reservation behind us. In all my life I've never been told something like this before we even sit down. Maybe if we were lingering at our table over coffee at the end of the meal....
Needless to say we skipped dessert and we were out of there by 8pm.
The food was excellent, but nothing special. I actually miss L'occa. In this neighborhood I can get hickory lane type fair at several locations, but Italian food was not as easy to come by...."

"Went here for brunch on a Sunday because I heard good things. The menu was small but provided adequate variety. The food was good - the french fries were excellent. They easily accommodated my stroller."
