Diner Reviews
  • "Maybe because this was the Hershey Springtime and the Restaurant may not be fully open, but the food was not that good. My Salmon was good but my potatoes were ice cold and the broccoli and cauliflower were raw. My mother had the pot roast and it was terribly dry and as well her potato and veggies were cold and raw. The rest of family had burgers fries and they were okay. It was a cute place and the staff was nice and friendly, they just really need to put more heart and soul into the food. That's what sells the place."

  • "I can easily recommend Hershey Park Place to families. The theming is adorable, well done amusement park decor w/a coaster track running right through one of the rooms. Very clean, new & comfortable. The food is delicious and the portions border ridiculous! The prices were right - lunch was $30 for three people and dinner was $40 which included pot roast w/four sides (!), crab cakes & a kids meal. The staff was very friendly (Robin for dinner and I didn't get our lunchtime waitress's name) and the service was quick. There was no wait (reservations are obviously accepted) but we didn't need them. The location of this restaurant is right outside the main gate. As a special treat, my son was given a cute bag of candy on Easter :) Enjoy!!"

  • "This is a nice spot to get away from the park. Prices are on par with park menu fare. The food is okay, nothing special but filling. The servers are friendly though overwhelmed. Overall, it was a good experience."

  • "I wasn't expecting a four star meal here and I didn't get one. On the other hand, it was certainly a step above what you might expect for a dining experience at an amusement park. The service was attentive and prompt, even though it was a mad house in there. The food was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals. Best of all, it was inside and warm, which is exactly what we needed on a chilly fall evening. When we go back to Hershey (and we will), Hersheypark Place is where we will grab a bite to eat."

  • "This a great place to eat at a Park and the accommodations were much better than inside the park. Convenient just outside the Hershey park gates so it's good for weary park goers. We have a family of 7 so it was pretty pricy as compared to other family options but okay for the expected park prices. The food was clearly above park norms but still only an overall 3 star as compared to other restaurants"

  • "We had no idea what to expect when we went in to Hershey Park Place. There was more variety on the menu than we expected. We all ended up having wonderful dinners -- half rack of ribs was fantastic. Mashed potatoes were incredible as was everything else we ate. Service (his name was Matt) was wonderful. He was so friendly, patient and helpful. As far as appearance, it was eclectic. They were totally decked out for the holidays which was very nice. There were also big polka dots on the table cloths which made you think of happy kids and a party. Overall, we had a wonderful experience."

  • "We made reservations at Hersheypark Place so we could eat indoors at a restaurant with table service. My two children ordered the pepperoni pizza, one with with a baked potato side and the other with applesauce. I ordered fish and chips with an side of coleslaw. The fries were seasoned with Old Bay. The fries, frozen like the pizzas and fish, were smothered in so much Old Bay that they were inedible. The coleslaw was the finely minced kind, just overly sweet mush. The side salad that came with my entrée was pre prepared because the carrot slivers were significantly dried out. At least the applesauce came in a sealed package from Musselman. The food quality just does not justify the prices. For microwaved food just eat in the park."

  • "The food was fair, though soda was flat. Service was not great. Was not even asked if we wanted dessert and kids were disappointed when no Hershey kisses were brought with the bill. Others in the restaurant did receive this and this had been the case when we had eaten there previously."

  • "Not very busy when we ate here, so hard to tell what it would be like on a really busy evening. Our server was attentive, quick, and pleasant. The food arrived in good time. We ate: Cheeseburger & potato chips - very good, cooked just as we'd asked. Taco salad - huge, but pretty bland. Sides (sour cream and salsa) were good size. Fruit & Nut salad - delicious! Very fresh. Dressing on the side allowed us to add just what we wanted Nachos - Large serving, but again, pretty bland. You might want to ask for more salsa to spice it up. BBQ chicken wings - Lots and lots of sauce, tasty. Good size portion but won't fill you up if you're hungry. Family of 7 (w/drinks) - $98 + $15 tip = $113."

  • "Second visit to Hershey Place in 2 years. It is extremely loud, kids running everywhere. We have 2 kids as well, so I know kids can be loud. The service stunk. It took at least 15 mins after being seated for someone to greet us and take our drink order. The same happened the year before. Maybe we are just spoiled by Disney, but I expect more from a sit down in a park."
