Herons West Coast Kitchen + BarGreat for special dine outIt was my first time in Herons and I have bought Travelzoo voucher to not to spend too much money on the first trial. I wasn't disappointed. I am a foodie, and the most important in the restaurant for me is the food quality and a presentation. I also was meeting the old friend and didn't want too much noise around so we could talk. So I say - I had a great evening! The food was outstanding, the service was just right, I felt that special hidden care when the waiter feels what your needs are. Food and drinks are pricey though, it is a pretty upscale place, so be aware. But the chef's creations were worth it. Pricing also hit the high notes and a dinner for six added up very quickly. Thought the bottled wine markup was very steep but was willing to overlook this because of a special occasion dinner. Wouldn't go back solely because Vancouver offers so many other equal dining experiences at a better value.
