That said, the original vegetarian pea soup they served for years was gluten and fat free and terrific for vegans.
This past year I knew the recipe had changed...the broth seemed heavier in texture and just "not right."
Indeed, when I asked the server to check on the ingredients, he told me that it contained gluten...I think it has flour in it.

( the good kind ) and a large bowl of assorted olives in light oil for your noshing pleasure, a very nice touch touch!! As a fan of their original pea soup, that originally was dairy free and fit for vegans, I discovered that it somehow morphed over the years from the original and now has milk or cream in it. While the taste is richer as a result, as I am a vegan I was upset when I learned this when I dined at Bogart's, another Rappaport restaurant.

Every dish was presented well and good. They dont overdo the pepper/ onions that many restaurants do. Too much spice and pepper just overwhelms the actual dish and I just end up with a nasty case of indigestion later in the night.
