"Fresh and Honest" which means fresh from the farm and honest to goodness home cooking.

We were seated late for our
reservation. Service was poor throughout the brunch. The food selection was limited for a buffet and the Eggs Benedict was overcooked. There are definitely better brunches is Boston."

I have been for both dinner and
brunch and brunch is a little creative in my opinion. Drinks are always good at anytime."

Menu quite limited for dinner and
food was mediocre. There are much better restaurants nearby."

I love eating at Henrietta's Table
for the fresh produce. The fresh schucked oysters were delicious and so fresh. I was disappointed at the over cooked poached eggs, but it is ok, as it might have cooked more under the lights of the buffet. Overall, the food was fair and the choices were fair."

All six of us enjoyed our meals.
We all had something different : even the picky eaters enjoyed . Salads, soups, coffee and deserts were awesome."

I have been to Henrietta's Table
almost every time I have made a trip to the Boston/Cambridge area. The food has been outstanding on every one of those occasions. The service needs to live up to the high standard of the food. While our waiter was pleasant and courteous, he visited the table twice: to take our order and to give us the check. Our food, water, and drinks were taken care of by some one else. Our waiter was also hard to flag down when we wanted our check. He was either talking to colleagues near the waiter station or back in the kitchen. However, my experience here was a nice one. If I am ever in town again, I will try to make a visit the good here is just so good!"

i have dined at henrietta's table
several times now, for brunch, lunch, and dinner. in all cases, i have found the food to be good, tasty, well prepared, and not too expensive. service is also good. it is definitely a go to place for me in harvard square."

Except for heavy security, which
delayed entry, due to President Obama's visit to the Charles Hotel, every thing else at Henrietta's Table was fine. Excellent food and service, expedited so we could make a 7:30 curtain."

Great stop before an A.R.T show.
Service was timely, efficient, and pleasant. Dinners were delicious- roast chicken and salmon. Wait person asked if we were attending a show and gave us a10% discount. Our second time doing this before a show- hard to consider going anywhere else."

A Flawlessly executed brunch. We
were a group of seven with reservations and were seated promptly. Everything from the eggs Benedict to the roast Prime rib were of excellent quality, served elegantly and extraordinarily Flavorful. The service was attentive and almost intuitive. The brunch is Pricey but considering it served us for three meals ( we dined at 1pm) It was money well spent!"

I chose Henrietta's because the
food has impressed me in the past, and I thought the ambiance would be pleasant for my out of town business associate. However, despite having an OT reservation, we had to wait 10+ min for our table, and then the waitress who served us had an attitude and manner that bordered on rude & hostile. The saving grace was that we were put in the side room that accommodates private parties, so it was slightly quieter in there and we had ample space around us. But I won't bring guests there for lunch again, because of the noise level in the rest of the restaurant and the poor service."

Had a wonderful weekday breakfast
with my husband at Henrietta's. The place is bustling at 8:30am on a random Tuesday with out-of-towners staying at the Charles, to Harvard's President and Dean, to us, two locals taking the morning off for a grand breakfast! The home fries are the best I have ever had a truly a meal in itself."

They always have good fresh food.
Great location to meet friends. Good for Gluten free people."
Dined on 2/22/2014
The service was wonderful. The
food was great except for two items. First, the eggs Benedict were soggy, as if whoever assembled them scooped the eggs out of the poaching water and straight onto the toast without letting them drain. Secondly, the decorative drizzle on top of the dessert cream puff ring had an unpleasant taste and texture which spoiled an otherwise delicious dessert."

Salmon done perfectly. Hot
buttered rum was very disappointing. I had one at HT last winter which was sublime, but this year's version was overwrought with clove and undrinkable - at least for my palate. Unfortunately the waiter never noticed that I didn't drink my drink, but that was the least of our problems. We had to wait forever for our table to be cleared and when we hailed another server to ask for her help in finding our server to clear, her incredulous look was more offputting than our server's disappearing act. Nonetheless, the food was, as always, spot on."

We love this restaurant for Sunday
brunch and dinners out. It always seems to be the right place to go with a great variety of food choices."

We had dinner before attending a
concert at the Regatta Bar. Kevin, our waiter was attentive and provided great service while being conscientious about the time to ensure that we were not late for the concert. We never had a bad meal here and love the place. It's a gem!"

great service, interesting menu,
lots of comfort food , love the pot roast and potatoes … Option for outdoor dining in good weather. Plus plenty of Gluten free options."

When I saw Oysters, I was overly
excited. At noon my husband, friend, and I got there. We were seated right away. Since brunch started at noon, the eggs benedict were a bit over cooked since it was the first batch. 2nd batch was great! Variety of desserts were great and oysters were wonderful. Service was good. We just had coffee, water, and OJ. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it for special occasions."

Baguette with shaved salami and
cheese -- appetizer -- sounds awesome? One smallish slice of bread, one very thin (i.e. shaved) slice of salami, and cheese too powerful to eat. Potato white bean soup -- too spicy to eat. Soggy piece of salmon with nothing else -- all sides are extra and pricey. Desserts: $8 each: pumpkin pie (a small tart, no visual appeal at all). A chocolate roulade -- ok. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant."

I have been frequenting HT for
many years and have always liked it in the past. The past two visits were very disappointing. Two of us had 2 tiny crab cakes for $28. The duck tasted like kielbasa. The deserts were mediocre. Will not be going back any time soon."

A lovely setting, great food, nice
wait staff. My personal favorites: eggs Benedict and the bread pudding."

I attend several events sponsored
by the BEMF each year and find that I can walk to most event locations quite easily. However the dining experience provided by Henriettas is a wonderful prelude to the musical nirvana that the BEMF provides.I have dined there five times in the last year and half and have never been less than completely satisfied with the food and service which sends me off with a warm glow ready to fully immerse myself in the musical dessert awaiting me."

Great vegan choices. Excellent
quality of ingredients and very well prepared food."
Dined on 1/30/2014
Henrietta's table has the best
brunch anywhere, anytime. The selection of oysters, shrimp, salmon, vegetables, cheeses, breads, bacon, eggs, salads etc. goes on and on. All is beautifully prepared. It looks like it takes them a week to get ready for the Sunday brunch. We are vegan and there was plenty for us to eat. I even deviated slightly and had the oysters which were wonderfully fresh with that slightly salty ocean taste and the Gravlax. Even the coffee is excellent. The service is always pleasant and attentive. There is no contest with this place. At $45 a person it is money well spent."

The food is plentiful, the
selection allows something for everyone. The staff is friendly and happy yo be there. We very much enjoyed our time at Henrietta's!"

Went to Henrietta's with family
visiting from out of town with various food preferences/diets. The host was very accommodating with a last minute reservation change. The restaurant was very energetic and loud, the menu had great options for everyone and accommodating for gluten-free allergies. Decent wine listing. Server seemed exhausted and very busy into the end of the dinner. Service was fast."

the noise level is deafenning."

Drinks and food were very
interesting and very good, and service was outstanding. We appreciated the absence of music. It was easy to have our conversation on a night when the restaurant was moderately full. Don't miss the stone sculptures, especially if you know a little geology."

Henrietta's Table is my favorite
spot for brunch. It's on the expensive end -- $45 per person -- but they make it well worth it. With fantastic shrimp, oysters on the half shell, perfectly cooked prime rib, they really go all out. I also loved the array of grilled vegetables, and the desserts are varied and delicious. I also seem to recall that much of their food is locally-sourced and organic. Coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice (with free refills) are included with the meal, but they also serve lovely sparkling wines and a pretty good bloody mary if you're willing to pay more."

I was really kind of stunned and
sad at what felt like a crazily brisk and unspecial experience - we literally got our food 1 minute after ordering it, which even if it is ready is insanely ungracious pacing and I would say that while our salad, pot pie, and chicken club were all serviceable - the implication by the server is that we should be grateful for such special fare - and the reality is it was NOT special - it was fine. - and additionally it was expensive, conveyor belt quick, and kind of an embarrassingly low level experience."

Good and interesting food options.
Nice outdoor patio for the summer."

We grabbed dinner here before
seeing a show at the American Repertory Theater just a few blocks away. Food was excellent, got the 2 and 3 course specials and split a dessert. Service was great. It was all just so fantastic."

Henrietta's Table is know for its
extensive brunch and it lives up to its reputation. We went as a reunion of old friends who had a lot of catching up to do. The wait staff were attentive but not pushy. We were able to stay without feeling pushed to leave. A reservation is a must. Everything we tried was great. We had cheeses, bagels, roast beef, fish and eggs Benedict. Dessert was outstanding with the chocolate bread pudding, apple strudel and mixed berry tart standing out."

Very bad service, mediocre to bad
food. Cold food. cafeteria feel. Used to be good I heard, but that must have been a long time ago, Very verydissapointing. My out of town guest wondered why I picked it."

Great restaurant for a hotel
(hence the outstanding overall rating). Food was very fresh and well prepared. Prices were reasonable. Wine list was a bit weak."

Classic farm-to-table restaurant
before farm-to-table was a "thing." Very airy, light-filled environment with relatively open kitchen concept provides a homely dining room feel. Seasonal menu has something for everyone. Service seemed a bit slow even with many open tables, but perhaps it was just a fluke. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast, lunch or brunch location and/or needing to accommodate a party 6+."

My family and I dined here for
Saturday lunch. The adults ordered the 3 course fixed price menu and my son had the mac and cheese off the children's menu. Two of my three courses, one of my husband's courses and the Mac and cheese were bland. The service was very good. We'll definitely try again, next time ordering something different"

It was very nice that we were
unhurried and that the service was friendly"
