Looking forward to the Summer season there, and have already recommended it to every person I've encountered since Saturday... Truly a Bay Shore gem!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place.....The food and cocktails were awesome! I definitely would recommend this place.
Only complaint: The waiter staff seemed overwhelmed and could not offer us the attentiveness one would expect at a restaurant at this $level$.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMwow! food was wonderful, drinkswow! food was wonderful, drinks great. Menu selection outstanding. Our food was delayed in coming out, the owner acknowledged this offered us desert on the house. This wasn't necessary we were understanding, he made a point to come to our table more than once to check on us. The desert was out of this world coconut bread pudding 5 stars, we will definitely go back. We enjoy every bit, the chef is excellent I can't rave enough about the food. And we did appreciate the fact that the owner was concerned.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA GREAT new paradise! The food was amazing! We almost felt like we were on an episode of Top Chef with each plate being better than the last. Kobe beef sliders are a must!

Live jazz band made it a very enjoyable evening.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMHemisphereThis was my first time at Hemisphere. I found the food, service and ambiance to be outstanding. The only thing I can say that I was a little disappointed in was the fact that I couldn't hear the music too well and I was expecting jazz. Overall it was a great experience and am looking forward to returning soon!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThe devil's in the details.....Hemisphere is new; so, I'll give them a chance to get the kinks out. I'll start with the incredible aspect: the food. We shared three small plates: short ribs w fries & scallops w pork bellies; these were outstanding @ $21 each; we also ordered the veal meatballs (three) @ $15 each; the meatballs were very good. We also had a fine Cabernet for $45. The menu lacks any salad or vegetables. I realize they can't charge big prices for asparagus, but for many a meal, even a tasting, is incomplete without a vegetable. So, I would suggest they add a vegetable to the menu. Also, we dined on a cold winter night & we came with dress coats. There was no coat check; so, we threw our coats on the next table. This would not work if it were crowded2/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
