"We sat at the counter for the first time. A lot of fun watching the chefs at work.

Small but vey nice wine list. Enjoyed the onion tarte and the halibut on our latest visit.

Parking is a challenge in the neighborhood."

"Originally, we happened into the Heirloom Cafe and were delighted with the food. I'm not sure what it was this time, but the food just wasn't as great. It was definitely very good, but it didn't meet the bar that our first visit set. It could have been that the dishes seemed much smaller than we had before. I had the pappardelle with house-made sausage, a very good dish, but there were probably only 4 pieces of pasta. That's not much, even for an appetizer.

The service was quite good, though."

"Cuisine excellent, service unbelievably friendly and attentive without pretension, even when the place was crowded. No parking to be had, except in lots; otherwise, a lovely evening. We'll return."
