Diner Reviews
  • "Excellent service, great beer and drink menue. A good mid-level price choice in a casino with overpriced restaurants.!"

  • "Went two nights in a row at MGM....service was impeccable and the food was delicious! The margarita was very good also...."

  • "We tried Hecho en Vegas as it is the replacement for Diego's and it did not disappoint. The tableside guacamole was delicious and our party of six very much enjoyed their meals. There are very few vegetarian options but the waiter was great in making suggestions to the vegetarian in the group to make her choice more than just a meatless option of one of their mains. I strongly recommend the marisco coctel ceviche. Great bite, lots of shrimp, I could have made this my main meal. I would have given them 5 stars, but one member of our party had to send back her meal as it wasn't hot enough, but she otherwise loved her meal."

  • "Hecho En Vegas is a MUST for anyone that enjoys authentic Mexican food. Reasonable prices, excellent service and FABULOUS food! We enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone! They are "getting it right" in every way!"

  • "Been to Hecho en Vegas before, and it was great then too! If you go, make sure you order the fresh made guacamole. They bring a cart over to your table and make it right in front of you. You choose how spicy it is! The food is great, I've never had a bad thing. I ordered the taco salad, and it didn't even need the ranch dressing that comes with it. Ask for it on the side. Last time, I had the carne asada..sooooo good! Nice people working there, very friendly and really part of the environment that keeps the place moving!"

  • "Had a great dinner with 7 friends at Hecho! Roberto our waiter was fabulous!! Service was flawless, which we don't experience very often, so had to mention that! Menu had a lot of great options. Everyone enjoyed their selection which included burrito's, enchillada's and fish tacos. The restaurant is pretty and very comfortable - nice bar with a good selection of tequilla. We choose it because it was convenient - and felt it was a bonus that we had such a nice experience."

  • "Food was good and quickly prepared. Table side guacamole spicy and mild nice touch. Very good Marguerite"

  • "First of all, the service was great. Chips and salsas arrived quickly. The chips were substantial and tasty, and they get extra points for two salsas - a perfectly-fine chipotle salsa and a tomatillo salsa that rocked. Then came a $12 Margarita that had little flavor, and a $24 burrito. The burrito was a good size, the carnitas inside were wonderful, and the bandera-style 3 sauces over the burrito were tasty. But for $24, everything should be fantastic, not just good. And would it have killed them to make the thing with a freshly-made tortilla? The one I got was so stale I had to use a knife to cut through the center."

  • "The food was great at Hecho En Vegas and I highly recommend the tableside guac. The service was a little slow because the waiter was stretched very thin. Would've probably had another drink or two but he didn't make it around often enough. He did end up giving us a free drink though so it was well worth the wait. Overall though the food and options were wonderful. Would definitely go again."

  • "There was nothing special about the food. I would not recommend nor will I go back the next time in Las Vegas. Very overpriced."

  • "I made a reservation for a group of friends (8). We get together for a conference in Las Vegas once a year. The service was friendly but slow and the server became agitated and combative when we asked for separate checks. The server forgot to bring dessert when it was ordered. The server was very busy. Perhaps the restaurant was understaffed. Not a good experience. Compared to the service level at the other MGM restaurants - this was not up to par."

  • "They didn't have my open table reservation but easily found me a table. Service was prompt and friendly. My companion had a margarita that she said was one of the best ever. Food was served quickly and was very good. A little on the high price for Mexican food but it was very good. Well worth trying if you like Mexican."

  • "We arrived at 5: 00 for our 5:15 reservation and the restaurant had just opened. They told us to wait as they had run out of menus. Food arrived late and room temperature. They did apologize and gave us the guacamole free. Food salty and uninsuninspired. Diego's was better"

  • "Disappointed in this restaurant compared to others I have been too Service was good, food was fair. Seem like it wasn't fresh. I ordered the enchiladas banduras and the chicken and the cheese were not really hot inside My wife had a burrito carne asada style that was mostly beans inside . I have eaten at many a Mexican food restaurants and this ranked towards the bottom in most all categories. Not authentic and ridiculously overpriced"

  • "Average TexMex, not bad - not great. Adequate but not what we were hoping for. One aspect of the meal stood out - the table-side prepared guacamole was the best part of the meal, and was pretty fantastic."

  • "It was ok, considering we needed to eat somewhere inside MGM near the arena before a concert. The tableside quacamole and the drinks were really good. Other than that, everything else was just ok. It was way too overpriced for the value of the food and service."

  • "So happy to see the Flores family open a restuarant in Las Vegas! We love El Charro and are thrilled to thave their sister restaurant in Las Veags. Had dinner before the George Strait concert Saturday night, food and service were great!"

  • "Went there after we found out that Diego's had closed. If anything the food was way better. Loved the guaco made at the table. Just as good as Diego's. We will return."

  • "A very good Mexican restaurant. It replaces Diego at MGM Grand but I was always satisfied with that one too! Terrific table side made guacamole."

  • "Where cheap eats is hard to find (not fast food), this is the place. Tasty food with excellent customer service which made you feel like you were dining at a higher end restaurant. Food arrived quickly and fresh. Management roaming and attentive. In the old Diego place, ...it has had a modern facelift."

  • "We felt that the prices overall were out of line with not only the quality of the food but also the quantity. While the guacamole was made fresh at our table, $10 for 1 avacado's worth does not provide $10 worth. The drink prices were very high and we just didn't expect to pay almost $100 for mexican food. The music was way too loud and we didn't enjoy having to yell at each other to carry on a conversation"
