"We have certificates for Fish and Chaip, Pretzel and a pint of beer. It was delicious - the fish was fresh cod in a very delicate batter that was not greasy or fatty at all. The "chips" were also freshly made with a delicate crispy crust. Delicious!"

"My second time at Hawk's Tavern and in both cases the food was delicious and the service warm, welcoming and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, especially to locals. Glad it's here!"

"Hawk's Tavern offered some nice heathful and tasty menu items. Nice for lunch to not encounter soup/sandwich/salad fare, but some creativity. I think it fits in well for Mill Valley. Dessert options were only three which seemed weak. I prefer complimentary bread service, which wasn't presented. Courteous server. The dark room was cozy on a rainy day."

"This one of the better experiences that I have had recently. The food was fresh, presented tastefully, in refreshing and pleasing combinations. The wine list is not huge, but is well-rounded and inclusive.We chose to take a dessert home with us, and it was a delight to find the high quality and incredible taste went with us! High marks, all around, but particularly to James, our server. Impeccable service without being intrusive.The only challenge was in parking."

"I liked the restaurant, and it was perfect for lunch with women friends, but I'm not sure I would bring a voracious teen/young adult here, since portions are not overly abundant. Flavors, seasoning - wonderful! Interiors are very tavern-like with darker woods and nice upholstery. If you want more light at lunch, sit outdoors (sheltered)."
