  • "Went there on Saturday night for the Prime rib and crab legs buffet. Made my reservation online and requested our preferred seating and noted we were Kamaaina. All of this was was already noted and known when we arrived. Food was great as was the service. Only thing we wished we had were the tiny forks used for eating lobster. They would have helped with the crab legs. Probably needed a net surrounding us as the crab meat would sometimes fly when breaking those tasty legs. Seating was spaced apart very nicely too. Will return as we had a great time."

  • "We had delicious onion soup with gruyere cheese and lobster and shrimp rolls For appetizers. But what really surprised us and will have us coming back was the Mouth watering ribeye steak covered with a savory cognac sauce and mushrooms. The 12 oz steak was tender and juicy at every bite, laying over a bed of white rice And grilled green beans. The giant snow crab legs that accompanied this succulent steak were also delicious! No room for dessert as the meal is large enough to split if you wanted to make it to the dessert round! We highly recommend the ribeye and snow crab legs. On Mondays and Thursdays the restaurant offers 50% off any entry! Reasonable enough for anyone to give it a try!"

  • "We have been to this restaurant many times over this holiday.On every occasion we have left as extremely happy campers. They have a Lobster night on Sunday and do a really good buffet on Friday & Saturday nights. Lots of King Crab,cuts of beef,etc or have them make you a stirfry. The view of the sunsets from their restaurant are simply stunning. Worth a visit if your staying in Waikoloa."

  • "When we arrived Saturday night the hostess begrudgingly sat us. No one came to our table for over 10 minutes. I went back to the hostess and inquired. Then someone came to give us water. Eventually a waitress came. When we ordered a bottle of wine and meals off the menu, she seemed quite put out. There was a buffet that did not interest us. There was a large party at the bar near our table. We wanted to move away a bit but that looked like it would slow our service more. Our meals were lightly warm; not hot; indicating they had been sitting for quite a bit. This really ruined our last night in Hawaii and I would not recommend this place."

  • "Staying at the Marriott for second time. Last visit Hawaii calls menu was pedestrian and we went to restaurant 3 times simply because it has such a fabulous setting. Expansive views of the ancient fish ponds and on to A-Bay from anywhere you sit in the restaurant. This year however, the food is greatly improved. Menu has imagination and the taste follows through. Went for the $22 Keahole lobster night. Perfectly poached whole lobster, really simpe and wonderful. Started with ugly tomatoe salad with goat cheese and ended with pineapple upside down cake with macadamia nut ice cream. Go there for happy hour and enjoyed a $7 guava martini, yummy. Waiters and waitresses are overworked, Marriott needs to hire more help."

  • "A very nice buffet spread. Not overwhelmed with a bunch of "filler", but just the right amount of the "good stuff" (prime rib and snow crab). Excellent service and the buffet was always stocked, even with a large crowd. Probably the most reasonably priced buffet on the coast. We love dining here and will be back soon!"

  • "My Husband and I were staying at the Hotel and decided to dine on Thursday night when entrees were 50% off. We both had the blackened Ono which was delicious. The sun setting in the background cannot be beat. Having dined here a few nights we knew that the gratuity was not automatically added to the bill. (We were a party of 2 not 6 or more). This night, the gratuity was added. This would not normally be a problem except that it was based on the higher entree price. Which equated to a higher gratuity. I guess it was the restaurants way of recouping for the discounted price. To make matters worse, the server explained this to us and asked if it was ok. Like we had a choice. They should tell diners this BEFORE so as not to surprise them"

  • "It was our 46th anniversary at the Waikoloa Marriott. The sun had just set so the sky was still vibrant with colors and a cool breeze was a welcomed relief from the very warm day. We were given an outside table by the pool; a perfect setting. The service was great and the food was wonderful. A great evening to celebrate our anniversary and complimentary champagne was a much appreciated gift from the hotel. Who could ask for more in this island paradise?"
