There's a bar area to the right that was fun to grab a cocktail at prior to dinner. To the left is sit down dining with adorable outside furniture and pillows. Don't worry about it being cold, the rooftop area is enclosed and heated."

  • "Very Nice smaller then expected,we were late for our reservation because we got lost,the staff was great warm friendly welcoming our reservation was still available is was a birthday dinner the food was awesome and had a lot of flavor, i had the Cajun, chicken,my friend had the steak and the birthday girl had the crab-cake, everyone was very please with their entrees,shrimp cocktail is a must it was raining so we really couldn't experience the rooftop but we definitely will revisit when the weather is warmer. Also i like the fact when we were lost and called the restaurant for assistance we reached a person not a voice mail or recording each and every time we called big plus,Its the little things :~)"

  • "This is a wonderful restaurant on the roof of a boutique type hotel in mid-town. The food came out perfectly cooked and hot! We would definitely go back and bring friends. We both had the foie gras appetizer which was excellent and I had bouillabaisse with a nice kick in the red sauce - delicious. My husband had the tilapia dish and he loved it too. Charming location. I'd like to go back when they take the plastic sheeting down to really see the view!"

  • "This is a really cool place to go on a date. We went in the winter time, but will definitely be returning in the summer when the roof is not enclosed. Good food, good drinks and not terribly expensive, especially considering it's a rooftop bar located right in times square."

  • "While the decor was meant to evoke a ski lodge, I felt it was more like a sweat lodge. All that plastic! To be fair, it might be better in the warmer weather but then, a ski lodge?? The service was poor, the food was nothing special. The noise level in the dining area was unbearably loud, I can see why an automatic 18% gratuity is added to all checks. I would have tipped much less. Really not worth it on so many levels."

  • "This is a fun place to say "oh, I've been" in midtown. The "ski lodge" is a unique idea, even though the decor gets a little tacky at times. The food was good, and the make your own deserts at the table is a fun experience for a couple. I would recommend for couples if there are in the neighborhood and looking for a unique place to dine."

  • "Had a travelzoo deal they had. Pretty good value. Everyone downstairs though in the hotel part act wayyyyy too serious and 'fancy'. They made us check our coats and said there's no room up there for people's jackets (which there pretty much wasn't), but half the people still had their coats on. It was 20 degrees that night, so...y'know. Anyway, food was really good, but our server didn't really check on us at all so we didn't have any refills on drinks or anything. Plus they brought out the wrong food first, and had to wait for the correct orders. Besides that, we enjoyed it."

  • "We didn't get to experience the restaurant, we had a reservation at midnight and when we got there they were closed, the front desk of the hotel told is they close early in the winter, and do not take reservations that late, they should update their times on open table, my husband and I walked several blocks in the cold in NYC for our reservation and we were starving!"

  • "I was far from wowed. The restaurant is about projecting an energetic ambiance; and if you prefer such ambiance over a well prepared meal, then this is the place to go. Then again, I'm not sure if a folding wooden-slat chair design with a furry throw pillow serving as a back cushion makes for comfortable ambiance? My filet mignon was tender and juicy, but my garlic mashed potatoes seemed like they were whipped out of a Betty Crocker box. The best thing I can say is my wife liked the ambiance and I promised to return during the warmer months. Otherwise, I ain't rushing back!"

  • "While I was thrilled at the idea of enjoying a rooftop dinner in the winter (given of course that it's enclosed) I found that it was really cold at Haven. I've been to other rooftops in the winter and haven't been cold so I assumed that Haven would be no different, and I was wrong. It wasn't freezing but there was definitely a constant cold breeze coming in through the plastic enclosure. While I enjoyed my food and service, I wish I could've been warmer."

In fact the overpriced menu and - to be honest - mediocre food were just as big of a disappointment as the outdated decor. On the upside the staff was very friendly, but since my bill on a dinner for two ran about $200, I would hope they could spare a lie or two. Would not recommend"

  • "Servers were on us very quickly and again and again and again. Admittedly we were there for Valentine's Day when the objective is to turn tables over. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived or departed. It is located near the theater district and perhaps anticipated an after-theater rush, but our reservations were for 7:15 pm (we were out by 8:40 pm!). Having a prix fixe dinner allowed the quick service, but it seemed as if all courses were served at once Indeed, drinks arrived after our first course. Clearly we were not expected to linger (no bread was served or offered, but we did not ask for any). Food was very good and the ambiance bordered on the romantic which made it right for Valentine's Day; the rushed service did not."

  • "Went here on Saturday for an early pre-concert dinner before going to see Luke Bryan at MSG. What a gem in Times Square!! Who knew a quiet, unpretentious and unique place was hiding on the rooftop of a hip little boutique hotel? Friendly, accommodating staff, top-notch food, and relaxing atmosphere befitting of it's name. And, you never know who you might see here when you least expect it... I'd recommend this to anyone!"

  • "The service was pretty good, but the food left something to be desired. I had the filet mignon, and it was chewy, and not very flavorful. I also had the fried calamari. It was also very chewy, and I actually couldn't finish it. The atmosphere wasn't bad...a ski chalet on a rooftop in NY. It probably would be a lot nicer in the summer, since it's set up for open rooftop dining. It wasn't a bad place, but I can't see myself going there again..."
