Located in the heart of Old Pasadena, Haven features a menu of reinvented European classics with an American twist and unique craft beers from its on-site brewery and Brewmaster David Larsen.


Executive Chef Greg Daniels' menu showcases adventurous dishes featuring farmer's market specials, house-made charcuterie, flatbreads, and entrées inspired by California local bounty.


Haven's extensive beverage program changes weekly and offers 42 local and international craft beers on tap and over 100 in the bottle, as well as a curated global wine list and pre-Prohibition era cocktails. Included among their unrivaled selection of craft beers, they produce their own uniquely crafted brews on-site, featuring year-round favorites as well as small-batch seasonal offerings in a rotating selection of styles.

It was awhile after we finished our appetizers that the server returned to take the rest of our dinner order. One important recommendation. Haven has prospered in an Old Pasadena location that has had a revolving door of restaurants. That says a great deal."

  • "My boyfriend & I came here on a Saturday night, we couldn't get a reservation until 8:30pm through Open Table, when we arrived we still had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our table to be ready. It took a good amount of time for a waiter to show up to take our drink orders, the drinks were delivered by food runners rather than our waiter, what I thought was odd was I ordered a mixed drink and my bf ordered a beer, my drink was delivered first. Prior to our drinks even arriving our waiter came back to take our food order, this seemed a little rushed as we figured we would have time to enjoy our drinks while browsing the menu, it seems like they are trying to get people in & out as fast as possible so I definitely felt rushed the entire time"

  • "Havens was recommended to us by a buddy who used to go to UCLA. We were down for the Rose Bowl(wrong team won) and looking for a casual place for New Years Eve dinner. Wait staff was friendly and our waiter very knowledgable about the beers served which were excellent. The food though is the reason we would come back. They make their own chips, regular and salt and vinegar, both of which were superb. We had to make sure to stop eating them to make sure we had room for the deviled eggs, nice back end kick and paired well with the slice of house pickle..fried green tomatoes were excellent and you must have the pork belly. Great char on the outside tender on the inside and the 62 degree egg makes it. Polenta was light and flavorful."

  • "We come here a couple times a year, and is one of our favorite dinner and drinks spot. They used to have a more eclectic menu with things like pig ears, but that seems to have been removed. Their menu hasn't changed much over the seasons. But at least you know what you get."

  • "THe McCormick burger has gotten many reviews on Yelp, and with good reason! This is quite possibly the best burger I've ever had! If it had blue cheese crumbles or sauteed mushrooms on it though...well...I would have died and gone to Heaven. But this burger really is a winner. You won't be disappointed!"

  • "Best burger in years! Amazing lemony Brussels sprouts with prosciutto! Fabulous fries! And also on the menu are inventive rifs on other pub staples. Great beer selection, an acceptable wine list and full bar makes Haven a fun place to go with friends or after a movie. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are moderate, but bill does add up with all the little tempting extras to order."

Service was a little slow (getting waiter's attention, food coming out) but didn't mind much since we were watching the game anyway. Lamb burger was decent as usual. They forgot to check in my opentable reservations; I called them when I returned home that night and they said they would fix it. It was still a "no show through the weekend" and I submitted a form through opentable. The check in was resolved early Monday morning."
