Executive Chef Todd Erickson, has created food & beverage programs which pushes the creative culinary boundaries further into the future. Sustainable & Local when possible and progressive mixology are at work. Happy Hour is from 6-8PM everyday with great selections from the kitchen & 2-4-1 beer, wine, champagne & cocktail specials. Resident DJ's spin at 10PM and the bar is open until 5AM. HaVen is an elevated late night alternative to overpacked, smoky nightclubs.

  • "My boyfriend and I scheduled a reservation in order to watch a Miami Heat game on their big screens, we even called ahead to make sure we would have a table and the reservation went through. When we arrived they first tried to seat us at the bar, we asked for a table and they promptly moved us. As we sit down they mention to us that because of the Memorial Day weekend the kitchen was closed and they were not serving food, only drinks, and if we wanted food we had to order from a nearby taco place that would take 40 minutes for delivery service. I really wish they would have mentioned this over the phone, we came expecting food and wasted money for parking. The only saving grace was the waitress was very friendly. "

  • "I came with my sister for a late sweet 16 dinner celebration and loved everything about HaVen! The drinks were amazing, especially the Cucumber Martini topped with Champagne, and the food was AMAZING! Duck and quail burger was delish and my sister very much enjoyed the Mahi Mahi. Plus the complimentary desert plua the birthday acknowledgement really made my sister's experience a great one!"

  • "This place seriously needs to figure out if it wants to be a lounge or a restaurant because it's trying to be both in a very small space and it doesn't work. Our only option for seating was the chef's bar, which overlooked a food prep area, because all the indoor tables were inappropriate for eating. The food was quite good. We enjoyed some sushi and sandwiches. The duck sandwich was exceptional. Given some of the reviews this place has had I did have high expectations of it, but frankly they weren't completely lived up to. A good overall experience, but there are many places I'd chose before returning to Haven. The hosting staff is a bit "uppity" and I hate that in some South Beach restaurants. Overall though I would still recommend it."

  • "I expected to have some of their well taughted Nitrogen drinks, but on this night the nitrogen was depleted. I expected to have a selection of menu items in leiu of the Valentines Day set menu, but nothing else was available (except tator tots). I expected moderate attention from our waitress but instead we were ignored for long periods of time and patrons that were seated after us had been attended to more often. I expected to tip accordingly, instead an automatic 18 percent was added (for a table for 2??). All in all, the place needs some work. Not only did I leave with an empty feeling, my pockets were empty as well. I will not be returning."

  • "We were looking forward to this pre- booked dining experience but were totally stunned and very disappointed as when we arrived the Restuarant was in the middle of a fundraiser of which we unaware of. There were hundreds of people inside with a night club feel to the place. A reserved table was not in sight and we left. The Restuarant should have notified us of the situation before we took the trouble to get there as we were left high and dry."

  • "We were looking for a tapas restaurant and this restaurant was exactly what we wanted. Four of us sat outside and enjoyed a sampling many of the dishes. We had several that were just delicious. They also have a large drink menu and they are unusual but also very tasty. Inside was very unique and would have been fun to sit inside except they where having a private party that was about to end, and the weather was nice so we sat outside instead. Our waitress was terrific and was very helpful when recommending items."

  • "It is a visually stunning place. The wall length video on the walls are a trip. The night we went it seemed like we were in an airplane The dj was dressed in a pilots shirt and the walls video showed windows with puffy clouds going by. Then mural size places of beautiful destinations. It was fun and really different. The illusion is wonderful, service top notch and chef Todd's creations are so delicious. The grilled cheese with tomato puree was heaven My husband enjoyed the meatballs. We had 10pm reservations and it was perfect. Gave us time to eat before the place basically turns into a nightclub. Fun place will be back"

However even though we made reservations the door guy (can't remember his name) was difficult and wanted to seat us outside instead of inside as we requested...other than that place was great and will be def back soon!"

  • "This tapas dining room and later night cocktail lounge is a fun place to enjoy some creative small plates, like a foodie take on a grilled cheese and tomato soup combo where the "tomato soup" is instead poured over a buttery brioche cheese spear, or a mini crab cake slider, or maybe a clever sweet treat like liquid nitrogen created ice cream (some foodie options like bacon ice cream -- a winner actually!). The staff is very friendly and professional too. A FUN place that is different -- in a good way -- than the typical hot spot."

  • "I love to try different foods and different combination so HaVen was heaven in that sense. Everything we tried was delicious, including the drinks. The server was also very friendly and helpful. We were there until the music turned up and danced for a little while. Overall, cool place. The only issue we had was we were hungry. We went through the first plate (all tapas portions) pretty fast and it was a good 20 minutes before we got the second."

  • "I made a dinner reservation for two for 9:15pm. when i arrived they tried to seat me outside or at the chef's table. I requested in small table in the lounge area as i was planning on having dinner, drinks and staying late with my date to listen to music and enjoy the lounge vibe. They were un-cooperative and very unfriendly. After a few minutes of nonsense waiting outside, they agreed to seat me where i had requested. The place was empty inside! The waitress came over to greet us and immediately told us we had two hours to eat and then we would be required to leave and vacate the table!! I was stunned, shocked but not surprised, as this is quite customary poor south beach behavior. I WILL NEVER RETURN. SAD"

  • "I loved my entire experience at HaVen from the time I walked in to the time that I left... The energy was amazing, the people the ambiance... very cool, very south beach! I tried one of their signature drinks called "Fever"! It was so good that I have three of them. My friend and I ordered three different types of sushi rolls and they were all very good! Didn't want to leave.... Will return next week."

  • "I didn't realize this was not a sit-down restaurant from the reviews. Turns out it's a 'hot spot' with a thumping beat and excellent small plate dishes (as other reviews have indicated). You'll be sitting on a chair or banquette with a small table in front of you from which you'll eat. Great place as long as you know what you're getting into."

  • "We had a 11pm dinner reservation, but was running a little late. The Manager greeted us at the door and immediately accommodated us as if it was no problem (kitchen closed at midnight). Waitress was so nice! Tapas style menu was great. Music playing was full of energy with a vibrant bar scene. Both the Manager & waitress continually checked on us. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and even though the kitchen closed, the waitress made sure to surprise him with homemade nutella ice cream which was absolutely delicious! My husband had the sangria which he said was really good & I was happy to find my favorite beer (Hoegaarden) on the menu!"

  • "Super cool place located just west of the main Lincoln Road walking mall. Inside, the walls all have live video screens that change with panoramic views of snow covered mountains, interesting artwork, Pac Man videos, and other city nightscapes. You will find yourself constantly looking at the wals to see what is next...so that part is very cool. Food and service were very nice also..Fresh made to order tapas with some unique combinations. We sat at the Chef's table and we could see everything they were making, including some fresh ice creams made with liquid nitrogen...the chef offered us a taste which was pleasantly unexpected. There is live DJ there that spins starting at 10pm and the place really gets going after that. Great Find!"

  • "I went on Valentine's Day and so was limited to the prix fixe menu, which I knew about beforehand. To my surprise it wasn't that you chose one out of each category (like usual), but rather it was an 8 course serving of small bites--just the right size. The food was creative and elegantly presented and for more than half of the dishes remarkably well executed. The Veuve Cliquot champagne pairing also helped to enhance the experience. I did not give the place full marks only because the service was not as attentive as they could have been, which is not to say that it was bad. I would certainly go again, if only to experience their delicious signature cocktails which I highly recommend. Good choice for a casual date or a night out with friends"

  • "I have heard all my friends talk about Haven, but to see it for yourself is a whole different story. There was seating outside, but in all reality all of the action is going on inside. I can barely describe the walls. Full video screens that can change at the blink of the eye. At one point it had the dessert and the next its snowing. Totally different from anything else in Miami. We sit down for some dinner and everything was awesome! My favorites were the duck duck quail burger (love the name) and the tuna sushi roll with the seared side. Drinks were also really good, although i just tried my friends since im not much of a drinker. Overall place was great and a nice change of pace from normal South Beach"

  • "Very neat little spot. Came in at 7:30, was expecting to order drinks off the happy hour menu, ended up eating dinner off it too. A lot of food options from the reg menu at a greatly reduced price. Everything was flavorful and artfully presented. Our server, Velany was super friendly and eager to please. My gf ordered a martini (not included in happy hour, $17) She enjoyed that it arrived smoking from the dry ice. Highly recommended for atmosphere, service and food. 18% tip was included, but gave a little extra since service was great."

  • "Dinner at HaVen was extraordinary. Our group of four foodies dined at an outside table - We ordered lots of small plates and shared each one. Very impressed with Todd Erickson and his unique and creative menu. Standouts included the spicy tuna roll,salmon and cream cheese roll, crabcakes, sliders, pork belly, duck and arancini small plates - and I'm still dreaming about the salted caramel ice cream with cracker jacks. Wonderful evening - creative and delicious. Erickson is a superstar."

This is probably the trendiest bar/restaurant we've ever been to. DJ was great - hip subdued music during dinner.
