- Nice & kinda authenticJiggyDined on 8/25/2014Being from Miami there are certain dishes you come to expect in a Cuban restaurant - and Havana doesn't have them all, but what they do have, they do well. The drinks are very tasty and the service is excellent.
- Good for Food but NoisyChristyViewpointVIPDined on 8/23/2014The food was excellent. The staff were well trained and very responsive. The decor is clean and refined. The motion are perfect. The only issue is the noise level. Very difficult to carry on a conversation with a group.Special Features:
- Popular spotConventioneerDined on 8/22/2014My wife an I were in town for only 1 night and found this hotspot. Made a reservation for 930 but arrive at 8 to sit by the bar and enjoy freshly made mojitos. We decide in a pitcher which had a special price of $20. Appetizers and food was authentic and delicious. I would definitely go back again.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Very goodOpenTable Diner Since 2013Dined on 8/22/2014Our waiter was an awesome guy, but he could have been a little more attentive. Outside of that, the food was phenomenal and a great date spot. Live music too. I've already recommended it to others. It is a little small on the inside, but no biggie. Get a reservation.Special Features:
- ConanDined on 8/22/2014Delightful meal at very reasonable price. Will definitely go back. Try the traditional Cuban fare. Terrific service. Staff are knowledgeable and really cared about our overall experience. The restaurant is noisy when full of happy people with pitchers of mojitos.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Not exactly Cuban but good foodLizzyKDined on 8/21/2014This is more of a combination of Mexican and Cuban but overall it's a nice place to get a feel for the Cuban food experience.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- I love Havana!TravelingfoodieDined on 8/20/2014The only thing that would make it better, would be to a special for the night. Presentation was great, food was amazing but the capringa wasn't that good. It was ok but lacked the sugar taste and texture. We were seated fast and perfect weeknight dinner choice. I wish there was valet parking so we could have gotten there faster. So far my favorite Cuban place I'm the area.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- DillPickleVIPDined on 8/16/2014It was so fantastic Saturday night that we are going back tonight, Monday. Many delicious items on the menu to try.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Too good for wordsNotARealFoodieDined on 8/9/2014This food was so GREAT. Everything tasted so fresh. I'm originally from Miami and while I wouldn't put it up to par to that because it's a different type of Cuban (everyone makes things differently) it was great. It'll hold me off until I can find my way back. You've got to have one of their Mojitos. Each one was mixed perfectly. Not too much sugar, not too much/little rum and just enough lime juice. I had the Ropa Vieja. Probably one of my favorite Cuban dishes and it was fabulous. Seasoned perfectly. I wish I could've finished it all. And apparently it has live music until 3am. What more could you ask for? This has definitely become a favorite for me when I visit Chicago.Special Features:
- FantasticCityguy007Dined on 8/9/2014Havana capped off a great week in Chicago. Excellent service coupled with amazing food proved to be a wonderful choice to eat. I look forward to my future travels to Chi-Town which will definitely include a stop in Havana.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- OverallOpenTable Diner Since 2007Dined on 8/1/2014Food and drinks were good. Waiter slower than slow for place that wasn't crowded.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- tastyRebeccaz74Dined on 7/26/2014The food was very good, the drinks are to die for, mojitos are their speciality. limited dessert menuSpecial Features:I would recommend this to a friend.

- GREAT Cuban!CS440VIPDined on 7/25/2014WOW! Haven't had Cuban this good since I lived in Florida. Great atmosphere as well. Nice for a date night, and I did see a couple groups of friends sharing pitchers of mojitos. Also, this place was a GREAT value. Tons of food for not very much. The "half" order of guac came with 2 different salsas as well! Will definitely be returning ASAP!Special Features:
- Definitely GopaulebnjDined on 7/23/2014It is so refreshing to find a restaurant that does not have the same old food. Havana is a unique experience with dishes that you won't ordinarily find anywhere else. The food is fresh and tasty.Special Features:
- Very good Cuban foodOpenTable Diner Since 2010Dined on 7/21/2014We had a very nice dinner at Havana. Our waiter was nice and attentive. The food was excellent and the various kinds of Mojitos tasted refreshing. Fidal and Raul would feel right at home having a Cuban meal here at Havana. I will go back soon.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great food, good servicefoodiefestDined on 7/19/2014We went here for lunch for the first time and it was really good, we got the empanadas to start and they were tasty, then of course the Cuban sandwich and Cuban Roasted Pork both were delicious and one of the few places that makes congri the right way. Service was also good.Special Features:
- Great Food, Lively Environmentehp23Dined on 7/18/2014I love Havana! The food is always good (we had the halibut, salmon and guacamole) and I've always loved what I've ordered. The drinks-especially the mojitos and margarita- are delicious. At night, they often have great music which tops off a great evening!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- phenomenal food!saritaDined on 7/15/2014The only thing lacking was service. We didn't have a server. The bartender (who was excellent) had to come from behind the bar to serve us so it wasn't as speedy as we hoped given as we were starving. But the food was worth the wait and the drinks were on point!! Will be back!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- LovelyDined on 7/14/2014Must try the Havana Pulled Pork entree - very good! Our server was great. We sat outside (outdoor seating is limited) but occasionally you get the smell of the alley coming by. Indoor seating probably would've been better!
- HavanaJohnBCVIPDined on 7/5/2014Had a great meal, especially the black bean soup and the pork chops.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Havana dinner.patnpamDined on 7/5/2014Made reservations for a pre - play dinner for 4. We had been here once before and this time brought friends. The margaritas are very good, not overly sweet. Service is very friendly and helpful with items on the menu. A nice little throwback to 50 ' s Cuba with good reliable menu. Music was a little on the loud side. The carne asada is very well spiced and cooked. Two of us had the Cuba pork. A nice plate but a little sweeter taste than I expected. Our friends liked it and we all agreed we would go back again.I would recommend this to a friend.
- Very happy!!Dick50Dined on 7/3/2014I almost hesitate to write this because I want to be able to get a reservation the next time that I am in town. This is definitely a hidden gem! Everything was great! Drinks, appetizers and main course! All enjoyed! This is definitely on my return list! Mojito Heaven!Special Features:
- KarenDined on 7/2/2014Was a little disappointed in the food. Was kind of bland. The appetizers were good.
- Good but noisyScottieBDined on 6/27/2014Food was good but very noisy on Friday night. Made a 10 pm reservation around 9 and they honored it even during a busy night. Band played and it become more of a night club than a restaurant.Special Features:
- Great foodBekahbonkersDined on 6/24/2014We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great findOpenTable Diner Since 2007Dined on 6/23/2014We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for something casual while different. The Cuban food was really tasty just the right amount of flavor where you could actually taste it. The service was super friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Enjoy!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great food with good staffPasadenaDined on 6/21/2014Thoroughly enjoyed the spicy chicken wrapped in banana leaves, the chicken rolled with spinach and cheese, and the crab cakes. Guacamole was good but not great. Servers were attentive and friendly. Noise on a Saturday night was difficult for conversation but we would go back for the food.Special Features:
- Girl's OuttingCooljayDined on 6/21/2014My gf's best friend and other mutual friends had a great time at this place. Havana is a overall good experience for ladies night out or a special occasion. For them it was a birthday.Special Features:
- OpenTable Diner Since 2010VIPDined on 6/13/2014We dined at Havana on a Friday night. We had a reservation at 7:00p and we seated promptly. The waiter was attentive and we ordered margaritas and a bottle of Rioja. Both were very good. The food was outstanding. The ceviche, crab cakes, and empanadas were great as appetizers. The entrees of halibut, pork, and steak were all great. In particular, the sauces served with the items greatly enhanced the flavors. This is a restaurant we will come back to on a regular basis.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- What a Surprise!datenightdinerVIPDined on 6/7/2014We've walked past this restaurant so many times and finally decided to check it out for a late dinner. What a wonderful surprise! The food was really, really good and the margaritas and mojitos were outstanding! And to top it off, there was live entertainment after dinner! We keep coming back for appetizers (the best ceviche around) and drinks at the bar and occasionally for dinner in the evening. It's walking distance to where we live and we're so happy to have discovered what so many others have obviously known about for a while. Highly recommended.Special Features:
- Great!OpenTable Diner Since 2014Dined on 5/31/2014Food was amazing, ambience was incredible. Our waiter was very nice, but never came to the table to check on us and it was very difficult to find him when we needed something. Other than that, we had an absolutely wonderful time and will definitely return!Special Features:
- Great place to unwind!awtxVIPDined on 5/30/2014While part of the draw to Havana is their marvelous mojitos, the food is also excellent! Authentic and delicious Latin American & Caribbean cuisine. Have eaten here several times, both as a couple and with a larger group, and always had a good time, and food and drinks have been consistently good.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- DeliciousBmtz7Dined on 5/29/2014The food was impeccable! Had the Rollitos Mechacados. Yum!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Good Food with Great Serviceddem4Dined on 5/24/2014Our hostess could not have been nicer in accommodating us. The servers were polite and prompt without being overbearing. One of the better experiences while dining out in a while.
- Havana RocksWMA1Dined on 5/17/2014Great food (if you don't like the tostones you don't have a soul), tremendous drinks (try the mojito flight), and reasonable prices. We had a group of 10 and they accommodated us with a large table in the downstairs dining room. Overall a great time and highly recommended.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great mojitos - OK appsPinktrenchcoatDined on 5/15/2014Stopped in after work for happy hour and we ordered a pitcher of mojitos. FANTASTIC - one of the best mojitos I've had. The service was great as well - our waiter was attentive yet not intrusive. We were running late and the restaurant was happy to adjust our reservation, which was very much appreciated. We ordered several appetizers but, unfortunately, were not wowed by any of them. The tostones were rather bland and the calimari was a bit oily. Not enough to complain or send back, but just ehh. May try dinner or, at the very least, stop in just for mojitos. The drinks and service make Havana are good enough for a second chance.Special Features:
- Great lunch spot!DaisyDined on 5/14/2014Delicious good. Fast and friendly service. Fantastic drinks.Special Features:
- I'm in loveTiagoDined on 5/10/2014The food was amazing and the service was good!!! Best Cuban place ever.I would recommend this to a friend.
- Crowded and UncomfortableMariposaDined on 5/10/2014The food was good, which is why I gave it one star. The service was terrible. We had to wait 20 minutes for a beer every single time. The venue is small and gets crowded and hot when live music starts. Live music started about an hour late. I will not come back, it is not worth it. Too hot and uncomfortable. Not really my scene at 34 years old. I like to have a good time, but not be suffocated and pay big bucks for poor service. The women's restroom was uncomfortable, the floor was flooded with water or urine?? It was located downstairs and made for quite a trip when you had to move from you table to anywhere in the place. I think this might even be a fire hazard. It was terribly overcrowded.Special Features:
