Great drinks! Have dinner first and have dessert during the live entertainment. This was our first visit to Havana Night, and certainly won't be our last. Although a little out of the way for us, the experience was well worth driving past several other fine restaurants, I took my wife to celebrate her birthday. She selected it. I'm glad she did. We both had the Grouper, which was the best I have had, even though we live six months per year in Florida, where Grouper is fresh and plentiful. Their menu is on their web site. I love the fact you have to make reservations. The food was good, but it is a little pricey. It was a little loud because we had a guy behind us that like the sound of his voice other than that the atmosphere was perfect. Next door to the restaurant they have a jazz club which I bought tickets for the performer (Gary Thomas) playing that night so we went from the restaurant to the jazz club and listen to some good music. Our server was exceptional and gave us just the right amount of attention. The food was exceptional, I had the braised short rib and my man had the prime ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the skirt steak and Gorgonzola appetizer and that let us know we were in for an enjoyable night. Then, we dined in a separate quiet room to eat some delicious food. I had the salad and organic chicken. My wife had mussels and a shrimp pasta. The place was very pricey but, you get what you pay for. Be prepared for the dress code if you go. I liked that they had one. The organic chicken, short ribs, and creme brulee were to die for. Our waiter was nice and down to earth. He sat and chatted with us and still did his job beyond satisfaction. I reserved a table for four people, but there were five of us, yet they were able to accommodate us. Three course meal for $30 per person can't beat it. Wait staff was superb felt like all the waiters were our waiters excellent attention to detail. After dinner for $10 a person went to the jazz parlor and watch a performance of a live a excellent jazz band. The bread pudding is to die for very good and I don't like bread pudding. There was no Jazz act featured that night (4/16/13), so the place was a little emptier and quieter, which was perfect for an intimate anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Pierce, was on his game and was able to give a taste description for every menu item, the wine and drinks! The owner/manager (?) stopped by each table to check on the patrons, he too suggested the bread pudding.
