It has an interesting pan-Latin menu that hit the mark when called upon. The empanadas where the one dish I would potentially pass on next time as they seemed more Hot Pocket than Latin delicacy. The mojitos were refreshing. Mofongo was delicious even if a little closer to room temperature than I would have liked. My date had a perfectly cooked shrimp in her salad. Our server Megan was warm and friendly.

Our waiter Nathaniel was very accommodating and pleasure from beginning to end. The appetizer were great! We had empanadas,calamari and hot lobster cheese dip. Our entrees were just as good with the exception to the oxtails. Three of us ordered them and all contained large amounts of fat on the meat. I found this extremely surprising and disappointing for such an established restaurant. We had a wonderful birthday celebration with mojitos aplenty! The paella was delicious and stays very hot in the metal pots they are served in. Generous portions, had enought for a full meal the next day! We also shared the lobster stuffed avocado, which is garlicy good and not filling. Flan of course finished our meal with just the right texture! I had been there once before for lunch when you first opened, the others were first timers. It was a most enjoyable night for all. The music was a plus to the delicious tasting food choices we made, Mofongo with shrimp in a creole type sauce, and for me grilled salmon with a mango chutney topping over a bed of blanched spinach and grilled vegetables, rice and black beans. The sangria was great, as were the flan and the tres-leches cake we later had for dessert. We have eaten here before and enjoyed the food, are VIP members and received a dinner coupon for my birthday. Must say, we have never been disappointed yet! The food was delish as usual... the only complaint I can share right now was that my Tostones Rellenos, (the ropa Vieja appetizer). was not good at all... the tostone was soggy and the Ropa had no flavor like it usually does....and it was tough. I should of sent it back, but I just let it go and waited for the rest of my dinner... I probably should of sent it back to give them a chance to make it correct but I figured it would take too long for another one. so that was my choice. The empanadas, fried plantains, tamales, and taquitos were outstanding. I don't think I could ever order taquitos anywhere else from now on. They were rich and succulent, paired with a fresh mango coleslaw. Yummmm. The ceviche was not of the same quality unfortunately. The shrimp were pretty flavorless. The presentation of the food was lovely and the waitstaff prompt and friendly, working as a team to deliver and clear dishes. Our primary waiter, Juan, did a great job explaining the menu and providing thorough, but not intrusive service. The decor was great and the ambience was out of this world. We had a dinner around 9 and the energy when we walked in was electric. There was a live band with plently of people dancing and enjoying. Its defiently not a dressed down place, everyone looked well put togethr, business casual. My waitress was so friendly and patient with me being that I was very unfimliar with the dishes. The drinks are very strong, I enjoyed the hennessey Sangria. I orginally ordered a mango bicardi drink but it was entireloy too sweet. The food was amaing, the flavors sent y tasebuds wild.
