  • "We had two great meals at Havana Beach during our spring break. It's so good to see the hotel finally finished and open. Walked past there for too many years looking at an big empty space. Great food and service on both evenings. We will be back for sure. Great atmosphere. The steamed claims were awesome (and the pomme frites on the side were a bonus that I asked to be removed before I ate too many). Will be returning on our next trip to Rosemary Beach. I hope it's still a 5 star experience."

  • "we are local to 30a and love paradies, cafe 30a, the vue, georges etc. havana beach at the pearl is new so i am sure they will sort it out. the decor is fantastic, the service good, wine list good, the food so so, which made it seem expensive. the cuban motif didnt really strecht to the food, ii love cuban foodand restaurants in sarasota, ny and dc. we will return in a few months and see if the menu and prep improvd"

  • "great atmosphere, good bar scene and drinks, nice menu, food was good but not over the top delicious, and definitely overpriced for you get. we had a nice evening despite our server, Wade. he was down right awful. extremely slow, never asked to refresh drinks, clear the table, how the food was, etc. He messed up what I ordered for my entree and when I questioned why the special wasn't as described, he snapped at me and was very condescending- the whole table was jaw dropped. totally inappropriate, rude, and one of the worst servers I have had a nice restaurant. despite him, I would give it another try based on the atmosphere and location. also- it was VERY noisy- definitely hard to have a conversation across a table of four without yelling."

  • "Beautifully tastefully decorated and the service was great. One problem became glaringly obvious once we sat down though….. This is not a Cuban restaurant! The only item we could find out of the entire menu that was even remotely associated with Cuban food were the Tostones appetizer. So if you're in the mood for a Cuban restaurant, don't let the name, the decor (including the wall art and conga drums all over the place) fool you, this is not one."

  • "My wife and I ate here for my birthday weekend. The waiter came over to get our drink order and my wife asked if they had a specialty drink menu. The waiter said "it's just the usual stuff like a sidecar". We later actually saw a specialty drink menu on a table close to the bar on our way out. We were never provided with a wine list. When the waiter brought our drinks he picked up our wine glasses. I said that I thought we might like some wine with dinner (hint, hint). He said that he could bring them back if we needed them. Never did inquire about that and after taking our food order was absent until he brought our check. That all said our food was delicious."

  • "The decor, the ambience, the service and the food are all impeccable. We live about 10 miles away on 30a and have been wanting to try for several months and finally dined on our anniversary. We were greeted promptly, seated at a nice table for two and our waiter was there immediately taking drink orders. The service was prompt, but never rushed. The bar was fun to look at as it is extremely well done. Our food was the best we have hade on 30a. Our favorite has always been Cafe 30a, but this took our dining experience to another level. Obviously a Cuban flare in the food and decor and it made the experience interesting and fun."

  • "I will not be returning to this restaurant again because of a ridiculous, greedy policy. I am lactose intolerant and when I tried to switch out my mashed potatoes I was told: "Absolutely Not. We Happily Eliminate but Never Substitute." He could see I was shocked. I don't expect someone to customize a meal for me, but if I have an allergy and cannot eat the side on a $40 meal he literally was saying to me I will give you just the steak and charge you for the steak and side (score one for restaurant profit on that meal) and you can pay extra for a side you are not allergic to --- oh thanks! seriously? There should be a standard substitution for common dietary needs to make it simple for all. This does not even happen at J. Alexander! Adios."

  • "Ordered a wedge salad and uncertain if had any dressing on it. Also, ordered the delmonico ribeye medium and it came out rare on inside and seared on outside. Had to starr over. Side potatoes not done. Second time to this restaurant and last, as first dining experience was just mediocre. Ambience nice, but food not good and very pricey for quality. Would expect much better."

  • "We celebrated our 30th Anniversary at Havana Beach and loved every second of the evening. Our Server (Wade) is absolutely the best, which elevates the experience to an entirely different level. His attentiveness, coupled with the outstanding cuisine, makes Havana "a must" visit. Go early and have a drink at the roof-top bar with a view of the Gulf, and don't forget to ask to be seated in Wade's section."

  • "We have been to Havana a couple times and the food is always so delicious! My only complaint is we were on an anniversary dinner date and we had no intimacy to our meal. Our table was close to the other tables we could hear their conversations. Totally not what I would've preferred but the service was spot on and my meal was so delicious! We will be back again!"

  • "This cool spot in the bottom of The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary is a nice little spot. They are a little slow from the service side -we had to get the front desk clerk to find the hostess - but the food is absolutely excellent. Our waiter was very nice & friendly, but read the specials off a cheat sheet - I would have expected the wait staff to have memorized them - however all the food was cooked prepared & presented well. Virtually everything is made in house - fresh corn cut off the cob, homemade popovers, to the yummiest s'mores with everything homemade. All-in-all, this is a great spot for brunch or dinner. It has a laid back, but sophisticated vibe that goes well with the area. We'll be back."

  • "As someone who takes bacon rather seriously, I must say that the Bacon Sampler is nothing short of amazing. Everything else on the menu is good as well. There is live music,typically piano, and unlike most places it is not obnoxious and loud. One can actually carry on a conversation. Foodies and people who like to complain may not like it here, but I thoroughly enjoyed it."

  • "I consider myself a big Foodie. So while down staying at the Beautiful Boutique Hotel called The Pearl i thought I would try their restaurant. Having been a hug fan of French Onion Soup over the years I decided to try their version. Absolutely the best. Wonderful Veal Stock with just the right amount of cheese. Their version of the Wedge Salad has house cured bacon and it was huge chunks and their blue cheese is to die for. We ended our meal with their version of House Made Smores. Starts out with their house made marshmallows, sitting atop their chocolate sauce in a mason jar and evidently they light the marshmallows and then close the lid trapping the smoke in the jar and serve it with (of course) their house made graham crackers. Enjoy!"

The waiter was so personable and just all around very attentive. We also were able to watch the big football game that was on as well! Will definitely come back when I visit again!"

  • "The restaurant"a dining room is very pretty. Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Our waitress was very pleasant. It was valentines day weekend and we were informed of the many items that were no longer available. My husband is Cuban and yes they do have black beans and tostonnes, no other Cuban food is available. I'm not sure why it's called Havana. The food was good but except for coming for the view on the outside terrace I don't think we will come back many times."

When the weather is fantastic, sit on the balcony and enjoy some fresh air with their fine cuisine. If you are a party of one, eat at the bar...the service is extra special and the tequila selection expansive...plus, you never know who you might have a conversation with."

  • "We enjoyed Havana Beach again and will be back in the future. Sadly the restaurant is steps from the beach and yet there is not very much seafood on the menu. There are the cold platters with lobster, oysters shrimp, etc but there is only the snapper which is delicious and shrimp and grits which contains ham! Ick! I cannot eat snapper every time I am out to dinner, fried in fact! Will be back but not often."

  • "There are several nice spots to dine along the 30A corridor and Havana Beach fits right in with the others. In fact, it's menu could be the best yet and definitely fit for "foodies." Our group of 4 didn't have anything we didn't enjoy and it was all prepared well and served nicely, in a warm, inviting and "cool" atmosphere. If you're vacationing in the 30A area, do yourself a favor and eat dinner at Havana Beach."

The menu overfows with tempting offerings, decision making is your only stressfull moment. Our meals were prepared as expected and were nothing short of delicious. After sampling one of HBs unique cocktails ....and couple of bottles of wine ..."the wind was at our back." The photos of old Havana seemed to come alive stimulating great conversion from one of our party, a native Cuban. Oh, and the desserts are sinful. It was a very nice evening.   • "We were excited to try this new restaurant as we frequent this area and were looking for something new. The bar and restaurant is nicely decorated and great place to sit and have drinks. All of the food we tried (oysters, chicken biscuit appetizers, bacon, fish n chips and grouper were excellent. The problem with this restaurant lies in their service in every area. We waited 35 minutes for our table that had become available before anyone told us, had to get our own drinks from the bar that were ordered from a waitress and our waiter argued with us regarding a salad order mix up. I didn't see any signs of a manager or anyone running this place that was seasoned for this price point. If we went back, I would sit at the bar and order."

  • "Beautiful new restaurant. Impressive menu selection. After being told the lamb was one of their best dishes, I ordered it. The lamb was so tough I could hardly cut it. Kept trying because the flavor was so good. Finally had to send it back.....not the best impression for my first trip to a new local restaurant. They did substitute a very good filet mignon. Had coffee ice cream for dessert.....nothing special. My sister had the rice pudding, which was outstanding."

  • "We have dined here three times now and each time has been fantastic. The Smoked Salmon appetizer is amazing and all of our main dinner courses have been phenomenal. The Shrimp and Grits and Snapper especially shine. The wait staff is always attentive and the Bar has a great choice of cocktails, wine, beers, and the like. We will go back everytime we visit 30-A. Be sure and have drinks in the upstairs bar when weather permits. Great way to start the evening."

  • "Better to ask for a table in the other room. Piano selections not to everyone's liking and much too loud when seated right next to it! I asked for a vegetarian plate to be composed of three sides listed on the menu. Two of the ones I ordered came together in their little dishes on a plate - the third straggled along later. Not the most attractive presentation. Everyone else loved their dinners - mashed potatoes that came with the lamb a particular hit."
