The service was very attentive and our waiter was knowledgable of the menu and made excellent recommendations. The food was delicious. What is neat about this place is the experience. The building is rustic and interesting making for great conversation. It is impossible to leave Havana 59 feeling anything but happy. As always, the Cuban nachos were excellent. Their Spanish pizza was very good. My guest ordered steak frites well done. A well done steak is usually a death knell for a good tasty steak. However, this steak was not only tender, but quite tasty. Still, I, personally, prefer steaks cooked less thoroughly. My ahi tuna was not as good as it was during my previous visit, but quite good nevertheless.
