From the artwork on the walls to the unique menu items, the experience is fulfilling in every way. The mussels are addicting, prawns and grits feels downhome and the cornish hen is prepared to perfection. The deserts are woth saving room for and the overall environment is designed to ake a customer feel comfortable. Executive Chef Cassandra Quinlan-Ashford offers a Seasonal American menu that will please the most discerning palate. The small plate of buttermilk fried calamari was delightful. My pan roasted striped bass with lentils in a citrus vinaigrette is unforgettable, and the generous serving of warm apple and sweet potato cobbler for dessert was heaven-sent. The food was great, the atmosphere was laid back and the space was really warm and inviting. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Complex: A+Harvist is part of the M.I.S.T. complex, which includes live theater, movie screens and performance space. The staff is attentive and friendly. They want to serve. The food is very good. Chef Cassandra has got skills. From the biscuits to the appetizer, all the way to the dessert, there is something good being brought to your table. The pork Osso Buco and the prawns and grits are two entreés I have eaten. Superb! Starters are well done, from field greens to chicken wings. Desserts are a great ending to a wonderful meal. I visited them on opening night with a friend. It was a great meal. I recently hosted a table of eleven and it was a big hit!
