The atmosphere is very sophisticated and elegant, yet very comfortable as well.
We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, and were seated immediately. Service was attentive and helpful, yet never smothering. Our server was great. In fact, despite the upscale level of food, and the dedication to local growers, there isn't a thing about Harvest that is off-putting or uptight. It's a great place to be.
As for the food - I enjoyed one of the best steaks I've ever had. Its location at the end of a new shopping center adjacent to the main entrance adds to the ambience. Hint: if you are coming from Delaware, use Ridge Road to get the prettiest ride.
The menu is diverse and features local farms that supply the restaurant. The menu changes seasonally ... hence the name. The presentation is almost always beautiful. The staff are caring and prompt. The drinks are innovative. We asked for a booth away from the kitchen with our open table reservation and they were all ready for us. (Kind of liked being near kitchen once, so we could hear their chatter, but not all the time.) The décor is really fun, modern, and classy. Plus, most of the menu items are less than 500 calories. Do try a dessert; they are little clear cups of sweets; nice price, just the right amount. I had a sea-salt caramel pudding thing. We had been here once before, but this time we were bringing an old friend, who has many dietary limitations. This restaurant offers so many choices of healthy, locally sourced food that we all had a hard time making up our minds.
Our server was very efficient and helpful. Everything we ordered was fabulous. I especially enjoyed the chicken skewer appetizer. We also love the darling little dessert cups. I normally don't have room for dessert, but these portions are the perfect size to top off the meal without leaving you feeling stuffed.

Started with the caprese flatbread which was good but could have used a little more flavor for my taste. Entrees included an entree salad, fish tacos, burger and falafel platter. Everything very good with fish tacos the best of the bunch, and probably some of the best I've ever sampled. Falafel platter included two large "cakes", but were a little dry and could have used some hummus on the platter. Desserts are always a treat with the large shot glass sized portions and a myriad of tempting choices. The restaurant has an upscale feel almost like I should of had a sport coat on. Although, it didnt feel stuffy. the wait / bar staff all were younger.
