  • "This was my selection for birthday club and it was great. The food was fabulous and service exemplary. Great beer selection."

  • "Our second time here and Harvest does not disappoint. It is all about the food and service. Both are superb. If you are hungry, this is the place for you."

  • "We had the bread board, the cheese board and BBQ board. All were very expensive for what little is on the board. Nothing unusual or even exception on the board. Favors were bland at best. The burger is 17.00 and came with asparagus that was way over cooked and floppy like over cooked spagetti. The buttermilk chicken was plated nicely, but the gravy was not smooth and had very little flavor. 3 adults and two children cost 160.00 with no alcohol. I will not recommend to friends or family. I have been to several resturants that cook from local farms and have had much better food. Extremely disappointed.I suspected that the sausage on our BBQ board had been frozen and reheated. The service was very slow and they were not at full capacity."

  • "With Harvest sitting pretty in the middle of NuLu they couldn't ask for a better location. But without delicious food location means nothing. Harvest's food is absolutely delicious! The menu is not so large that it is overwhelming but they have just the right variety for all diners to be pleased. The specialty cocktail menu is always a delight! Harvest is one of my favorites and not to be missed!"

  • "We had heard great rhings about Harvest. It did not disappoint. 80% of food is purchased within 100 miles of Louisville. The owner stopped by our table to chat. We have fried chicken livers, the bread board appetizer, salads, burgers, and BBQ. ALL were delicious. Service was excellent. Noise level could get loud if the restaurant was full. Luckily it was a week night and an early dining hour. We will definitely go back."

  • "Great visit. Loved the food and service. Beet gazpacho and cannoli were outstanding. It's noisy so be prepared to talk loudly with your guests."

  • "Great bourbon list and outstanding food! A must try."

  • "Local, organic, from farm to table style food with amazing cheeses and a good selection of mixed drinks and bourbon. One of the best brunches I have had. I recommend the croakie, my gf got the French toast and loved it. We also ordered 3 sides just try them and the potato salad was amazing if you like mustard based instead of mayo, the coleslaw was also great very unique and slightly sweet. The sausage was overcooked but had awesome flavor."

  • "A great place for innovative and fresh food. We enjoyed delicious wine and excellent service; our food was really enjoyable and beautifully presented. The influence from regional farmers was heavy promoted - we'll be happy to dine at Harvest again."

  • "My wife and I went to dinner for our anniversary and from the moment we walked in the door the experience was great. The food was fantastic. We started with the beer cheese appetizer and I had the BBQ plate for my main dish and my wife had the fries chicken. Both dishes were amaIng and had great flavors. The service was also great. During our dinner we even met one of the farmers who provides food for the restaurant."

  • "The menu is very appealing offering a variety of local fare, fresh vegetables. Everyone's meal was delicious. The service is superb and not intrusive. I've come to Harvest many times and the service and experience is excellent. I would like to see more vegetarian entree or special options. Make this local restaurant a must on your dining buckets list"

  • "Harvest was terrific. The food was absolutely delicious as were the drinks. I had the fried chicken, which was moist and tender with a crispy outside, and my date had the pork, which was equally delicious. We did a flight of Borboun and beer cheese to start. To die for! I loved this place and would definitely come back."

  • "Great spot for out of town guests who appreciate a non traditional meal. We had salads and shared the pizzas. Enjoyable."

  • "We had a wonderful dining experience at lunch at Harvest. A knowledgable, helpful server--terrific food. The burgoo is flavorful with clean, light flavors instead of the muddy muddle that's often served. One of the best roast beef sandwiches anywhere, and a terrific sweet potato hummus. Understated, attractive decor."

  • "My wife and I went for our 11th year anniversary. We went for a late lunch and it was very nice and quiet. If the restaurant have been full it will be very loud due to the hardwood floors. The ambience is wonderful in the idea behind the restaurant is awesome. Skip the breadboard if getting an appetizer. Small but good. The barbecue was delicious and the burger was fantastic. We will definitely be back in the future for another special occasion!"

  • "I have been to the Harvest Restaurant before for a bachelorette party for my friend and college roommate. It was so delicious and the staff were so accommodating (the manager/owner even came around and talked about the fresh produce and the meaning of the restaurant) that I had to bring my husband back for a date. We made a reservation the day of and was pleasantly surprised to see they had open tables. The food was amazing, we never ran out of water, and the staff were very accommodating. I've told all my friends and family to try this restaurant. We will be back."

  • "Took a party of 9 visitors for dinner and every one was thrilled with their meals. Some didn't like the chicken livers, but they were very good and not greasy. The house salad was a fine creation and the chicken dinner was outstanding. My best friend loved the BBQ platter. Deserts were great as well. Bourbon flights provided great selection of those tastes. A great taste of Kentucky!"

  • "We have always like going to Harvest (been 10+ times), but this trip was a bit underwhelming. The food was under seasoned, the prices have been raised, and the kids' menu was lacking any real substance (three items, no sides, no veggies). Also the wine pours were on the light side. We'll wait a while before venturing back."

  • "Harvest never disappoints. Had the country ham, grits, eggs, etc. and it was divine."

  • "Wonderful concept, great food, and very personable service. Drinks were more expensive than they should've been, but the food was outstanding. Had the chicken and waffles and was literally blown away - so great! If I lived here, this would be one of my favorite dining establishments. Being from out of town, didn't know about trolley service - don't walk ... area is a bit shady."

  • "Harvest was an excellent local restaurant and the food was terrific."

  • "Outstanding dining experience. Our server was very informed and friendly. The biscuits (as an appetizer) were tremendous. Regional fare is a great theme and the food was excellent. Not our first visit and it won't be our last. Couple with a trip to the Center for the Arts, our visit made for a nice evening out."

  • "I had hoped to find a more varied vegetarian menu. The night we went, there was one vegetarian entree and one salad that did not contain meat. Additionally, one of the three desserts contained meat! I assumed that a restaurant that restaurant that specializes in local ingredients would have a little more balance between animal and vegetable fare. The food we ordered was delicious, but for three of four at our table the choices were quite constrained."

  • "Fresh local food with exciting seasoning and sauces. Servings were very generous. Wait staff excellent."

  • "The restaurant was packed and very loud. I had a salad, which I liked a great deal. Fried chicken - not enough flavor. 3 cheese grits were okay and the greens were seasoned too harshly for my taste. Two of us had a glas of wine and both glasses seemed like extremely stingy pours. Server was excellent "

  • "Our server was Jason, he was very personable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Pork Chop, which I would describe as the best pork chop I can ever remember having. It was cooked perfectly with smoky and juicy flavors that were excellent and it was complimented excellently with the accompaniments that came with it. The beer I had - a Country Boy seasonal beer - was also perfect to go with my meal. I had the chocolate flourless tort for dessert which was delicious, even though I had saved only a small room for dessert I finished the whole thing! The room was bustling with a great crowd of locals, varying levels of casual and dressy. I would definitely recommend!"

  • "I have been to Harvest many times for dinner, but this was my first time a lunch. As usual, lots of local vegetables, and a nice brief menu. Service was good, so easy to get in and out. Some seating outside for a nice day. I recommned a table near the front as it is quieter. For conversation, the main room can be loud. "

  • "This is perhaps the best realization of the farm to table concept in town. The walls contain sketches of the farmers and a map of their locations, and the food is prepared with flair and, dare I even say, reverence. It was bustling---a euphemism for too noisy---even on a weeknight, and the tables are appropriately rustic, except for a few with white tablecloths. Everything we had was excellent and service was friendly. However, the wine pour was very small and not a good value. I'd stick to a bourbon or a beer."
