  • "Let me start by giving a shout out to the Chef. My wife has a gluten intolerance and the kitchen at Harvest was more than accommodating. We started with oysters and tuna sashimi. Both were outstanding! For entrees my wife had the halibut with porcini mushroom risotto and lobster broth. I had a CAB strip steak. They were both wonderful. Our server was polite and well informed. He helped us navigate the large beer list. We will be back!"

  • "This was our first experience at Harvest. The environment was vibrant and the service was excellent. We split a salad and ordered the walleye and short ribs. Both meals were outstanding. We will definitely be back more often."

  • "hostess put me down as no-show, triggering a 'please cancel next time'. NOT nice. Asked to be seated at window table and was told not possible due to computer 'assignment' though that table was not occupied for almost 1 and 1/2 hours. Server and food were great."

  • "We know we can count on a variety of selections even though we often choose the Kobe style burger and duck fat fries. I have tried several other items and have not been disappointed. This is a good place for a special dinner"

  • "Another wonderful dinner at Harvest! The bay scallop appetizer with mushroom risotto, peas and favas and red wine sauce was great. So was the Caesar salad with burrata cheese. Our server Robert recommended the sockeye salmon with a curry broth. It was outstanding. The CAB NY strip steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. The bread pudding dessert was a perfect end to another great dinner."

  • "We had great dinner there on Saturday. The only unfortunate part was that our dessert came and the bottom of the bread pudding was really burnt and we had to send it back. Someone should have known it was burnt and shame on them if they knew and put the burnt side down and served it to us."

  • "The food is good and our service was excellent. The owner's ego requires guests to eat what they have been served, as is. They obviously do not know what they like and their tastes must be identical to those of the owner. The days of "my way, or the highway" have to end."

  • "Another great dinner at Harvest. The oysters were amazing as usual. The halibut feature with black rice and curry broth was one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. It paired nicely with a pint of 3 Floyds Dreadnaught. The NY strip steak was cooked to perfection. Make sure you have the cherry and white chocolate bread pudding for dessert."

  • "Everything went smoothly. Service was fantastic. The food was very good and well-presented. We were neither rushed, nor did we languish. Great choice!"

  • "We had another lovely dinner at Harvest. The house made bacon appetizer was amazing as were the marrow bones. My entrée of grilled grass fed lamb loin and black truffle raviolis was the best dish I've ever had at Harvest. My wife's short rib was melt in your mouth tender. Our server Robert always points out the new beer selections. What a wonderful evening."

  • "Extreme overreach, the culinary skills do not match the extensive menu. We ordered the evening specials. Everything was over cooked, except the green pepper appetizer, which was a pile of raw peppers. The scallops were so over cooked they were rubber pucks. The corned beef was dry and tough. A very disappointing dining experience, especially considering the price."

  • "It was a great night out with our grown children. We ordered an assortment of appetizers to share, and all were outstanding. Entree portions were huge. We are delighted to have such a fine restaurant in Solon."

  • "The service was great and atmosphere was nice. The food was very good for the most part but did leave a little something to be desired. I ordered boneless short ribs and the plate just seemed a little bit busy and lost. The flavors went together well but it was a bit too much put together in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen the heirloom carrots incorporated into the dish instead of left on the side of plate. My friend ordered the ribs and other then the fact that they could feed a family of four and looked a bit excessive on the plate the seasoning and taste was excellent. Again the side was just kind of thrown onto the plate with no real connectivity to it. Overall it was a very good dining experience and I would recommend it."

  • "While the server was friendly and attentive, the food was mediocre. My flatbread was tasteless except for the over-powering salt in the duck confit. The tables are so packed together that it is difficult to have a private conversation. When will servers stop calling mature guests "dearie" Honey" and "Sister. I will not return anytime soon."

  • "Truly a fantastic place to dine. Having worked in the restaurant business years ago, I am always amazed at a chef's ability to put together a menu that has so many remarkable choices. And to do it all so well. Our new favorite. Highest rating."

  • "I'd like to recommend this local spot but found that the experience wasn't worth the fairly high prices. Dinner for four (wine, two appetizers, and a shared dessert) was $205 plus a tip. The restaurant was out of all three desserts we preferred; a steak was butterflied AFTER it was cooked;fries were greasy; no bread or salad with the dinner; c-salad served untossed with a clump of cheese glop astride whole leaves of romaine; tiny piece of upside apple "cake" was more of a pie. One bright spot was friend's fish, one of the specials, but other dinners (farro, a seafood special, and the steak) were unremarkable."

  • "We ordered a $50 bottle of chardonnay which was served warm. We were told "that's the way the chef likes it to be served"...... We had to insist that it be chilled. Then we were served cold bread and asked for it to be warmed. The waitress adamantly said NO. Again we insisted and the waitress returned with heated garlic bread that was saturated in butter and garlic. We inquired about healthy food options and the waitress recommended a vegetable dish with ancient grains. The meal was so salty and the vegetables were overcooked to the point of being tasteless. We also order the Farro Burger which was served plain and was tasteless. Overall, this was not a good experience all the way around."

  • "We enjoyed another wonderful dinner at Harvest. The appetizers of roasted marrow bones and the raw oysters were to die for. The salmon with the curry broth was the best salmon dish we've ever tasted. My ribeye was melt in your mouth tasty. Our server Robert did a great job, Don't forget the bread pudding for dessert."

  • "It is not everywhere you can have delicious stuffed peppers, mussels, and an amazing burger. The burger was amazing and my only regret was not saving room for the bread pudding which everyone raves about!"

  • "Went back for the second time to Harvest. Hadn't been in a little over a year. Ordered the lamb shank special that had to be one of the best restaurant dishes I've ever had. Absolutely outstanding."

  • "We had another excellent dinner at Harvest on Valentine's Day. My husband and I enjoyed the salmon feature and our companions were happy to find vegan choices to their liking. The wine list is comprehensive and the beer selection inviting, as are the drink specialities. We knew we would be pleasantly surprised with the chef's creations and even though the place was hopping with customers the food was very good and presented well."

  • "I took a group of 7 business associates here for a weeknight dinner. 2 of the group were visiting from China, with only limited experience in US restaurants. The HK menu is ideal for this situation because the chef selects a number of entrée/side dish combinations to feature, making selection easy, yet there are other options for those wanting more control over their meal. The food was wonderful, by all accounts. Service was fast and excellent at all times. I had been warned ahead of time that HK would be expensive, and it was, but not crazy expensive, and certainly not out of line for excellent quality food, prepared very well, and served efficiently and with style. I will go back."

  • "There were three of us who dined on a Monday night at Harvest Restaurant in Solon. We started with a special lamb sausage appetizer which was amazing. Two people in our party had the salmon over black rice with a coconut broth special and loved it. Even though I'm not a vegetarian I truly enjoy the Piccolo Farrotto on the menu- slow roasted Ancient grains with garden vegetables and grated parmesan (can be made vegan). It was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it! I usually take half home and have it for lunch the next day, not this time. Our waiter was extremely attentive and did a great job. We'll definitely be going back to this neighborhood gem!"

  • "As usual, this appeared to be a wonderful evening with great food and service... except the hostess. The person that "greeted" us – she said her name was Alexis - was flat out rude, unwelcoming, reprimanded us on being 7 minutes late, made faces and rolled eyes in response to our questions, never called a manager for us to be able to talk about our experience (we asked numerously), her speech was inaudible. Not sure if we want to encounter this ever again. People at the table next to ours had the same issue and were perplexed with the hostess too."

  • "We found the food to be fresh and just delightful. Noise level was a bit loud for conversation without leaning close but we would definitely go to and recommend this restaurant to others. I was ipressed with the wide delection of foods for those who are gluten free - will definitely recommend it to friends with this dietary need."

  • "From the minute we walked in to this restaurant we were clearly unwelcome with our child. Despite him being a very well behaved child (or else we would not have brought him out with us) we were given nasty looks and disapproving glances from the gentleman that checked us in. I actually had to ask if something was wrong. Despite the ok food, this is not a place I would frequent again without a lot of thought and no other options. We did happen to have a great waitress for what that is worth after feeling unwelcome."

  • "Not sure what happened at Harvest but the food was really bad this time. The duck was well done! The carrots were raw! A far cry from al dente! The beer salad was so gooped in blue cheese dressing it was hard to tell what or where the arugula was! The saving grace of the whole meal was the service, from Stacey and the bread pudding! A very expensive meal for some very bad food."

  • "At Harvest Kitchen we know we'll love whatever we order, even if we order something unusual. It's all so darn good! Unusual blends of flavors and combinations are always pleasantly surprising us! And, its the only place in Ohio we've been able to find our beloved Shrimp n Grits, that we became addicted to when we spent time in North Carolina! A cozy restauraunt for a cold winter night…so happy they decided to open right here in Solon!"

  • "We had a large party and we were taken care of wonderfully. The food and the choices were amazing, not one complaint of a group of 12."

  • "I live in fear that one day I'll learn that Harvest Kitchen is closing, moving, selling out or...OR? Crop Bistro, Parallax, Lola's, Fire Food & Drink - they are all great, but...1) they're not better than Harvest Kitchen and 2) they're all much, much further away from my home. Can't do better than any dish with red curry sauce, any cut of beef (period) and, oh yeah, the veggie burger. How do they do that one?"

  • "Excellent food. Excellcent service. Everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious. Did not feel rushed at all. I ordered the quinoa pasta with veggies dish which was amazing. Others had salmon special, walleye, and ribs...everybody was pleased with their meals. Perhaps a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality of food and service."

  • "Great variety on menu--heathy choices served in a delicious way. With name like Harvest, it delivers fresh, local choices in a creative way. Great wait staff and front hostess."

  • "White table cloths, cheery wait staff, prompt service, and very good food. And, for us, very convenient location. We have been there in a group of six, and also just the two of us. Same results both time. And, they have a broad enough menu that there are several choices for every palate. My only niggle: a little pricey."
