The Hotel Hershey's hidden gem with quiet ambiance and great service and food is a place to return to again and again. A marvelous menu for lunch, complete with cocktails and a good wine selection, make this restaurant a "must visit" when you are in the area.

I made hotel reservations at the Hotel Hershey, only to find out they switched my reservations to the Hershey Lodge. The manager refeused to correct the situation and I will never visit anything in Hershey again. Additionally, on the way home I stopped at a store and bought some Toblertone, once I got home I through away all Hershey products.

After reading several reviews about bad food and service I wasn't sure what to expect. The service was excellent, although we did have 6:30 reservations. There were many families there. The food was excellent. The only issue was the noise. My husband wears a hearing aid and our seats were in the middle of the room which allowed the noise to come from all sides. Overall it was a very nice evening.

We were hoping to come in for a quiet lunch getaway. All was fine except that noise level in the restaurant was well above what we normally experience at other area restaurants. Most of it was caused by a rowdy table. The noise was clearly disturbing everyone else there. They were allowed to do a conference call at the table with the speaker blairing. Everyone had to speak loudly around the table for the person at the other end to hear. It was not appreciated.

Our anniversary dinner was quite disappointing on several levels. If I was allowed to rate "value", the Harvest would have gotten 1 star. This is a very expensive place to eat for what is rather ordinary food. A $180 bill for two should have gotten us a night to remember. The food is incredibly ordinary; food that I could have prepared better. My filet mignon, whipped potatoes & wild mushrooms were...well...ordinary. My wife's rainbow trout was good, not great. The food lacked seasoning & inspiration. The appetizers were ordinary. The deserts were the highlight of the evening. The cocktails also were pretty good and innovative. Ambiance was loud and noisy; crying kids, large noisy groups. The waitress attire is tacky; the mgr was intrusive.

My husbands dinner was fine but the pappardelle was way to doughy and the wine sauce was more like a bland soup. I would have reordered but it was already getting late and having to reorder 3 meals with the time left would have meant us not eating until after 9. Our waitress's tables were spread out way too much, making it hard to get a hold of her for large quantities of time. We love Hershey but don't know that we would dine their again.

Went with my girlfriend for a nice dinner expecting it to be nice. Food was alright, could have certainly been better. I had the ribs, which were OK at best (not too crazy about the chocolate BBQ sauce), and my girlfriend had the lemon-herb roasted rotisserie chicken, which was actually tasteless chicken with lemon herb sauce on the side. It was pretty loud in there so I felt like we had to yell to talk to each other. The waitress took our plates away without even making sure we were done (I was cleaning my fingers from the ribs but I still had fries left). Dessert was probably the highlight because it wasn't disappointing. The place itself doesn't look too bad either. Overall it wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't be rushing back there.

This was my birthday dinner, the first thing wrong, water in pitcher was warm. Ordered pasta, it was in this soggy brooth. Had to ask for grated cheese usually are expected, we had to ask3 times for some cheese, so by time we got it pasta almost cold. Server only cared about giving us the bill. Also didn't like the jeans, this is not a bar.

We were at Hershey Park and wanted to have a meal outside of the park. Harvest was a great option. We had received a promotion through Hersheys Sweet Mail and thought we would give it a try. It offered a relaxed setting and a variety of food choices. The kids enjoyed it as well. It gave us a chance to take a break from the park for a good sit down meal. Service was excellent as well. We dined at 4, so it was on the lunch menu but served as an early dinner.

We were extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism and service we received at the Harvest. After a day at the park, everyone was excited and anxious for a delicious meal experience at Harvest. When we arrived the hostess informed us that our table was not ready because the party sitting at the table they were going to give us were taking longer than expected. We explained we had small children who were hungry and we were anxious to eat. Our reservations were for 8:45 pm. The hostess left the stand, whispered back and forth with others, but never told us they were working on helping us. Our waitress seemed tired, did not offer us any drink refills and basically was trying to rush us out of the restaurant. Would say more ..

Had a lovely dinner at the Harvest, which is located in a lovely place. Service was excellent, however I can't go along with the casual attire of the servers. I think they are going for a farmhouse atmosphere. Scallops appetizer was wonderful and fresh tomato salad was too. My salmon with mashed potatoes and mushrooms was delicious. We were there with our 10 and 6 year old grand children and they had quesadilla which had cheese that was too different for them. The 6 year old enjoyed the chicken strips and potato chips. However the 10 year old liked the hanger steak, the fresh garden vegetable side of mushrooms was a no no. The waitress was nice enough to bring some broccoli as a substitute. We had 1 cocktail, 1 beer, 1 glass wine/ $150

If you're looking at the photos online and are led to believe that this is a cozy little spot for an intimate celebration, think again. This restaurant is steps away from Hershey's vacation townhomes and caters to the families that vacation there. Upon our arrival, the lobby was filled with about 15 screaming children and their parents. The evening went downhill from there. Noisy and we were seated cheek to jowel with our neighbors. Our server was lovely and competent, but we noticed that the servers were all dressed in jeans and checkered blouses. I guess this is to emulate farmers? A little too casual when they're charging $10 and up for a single glass of wine. We waited an hour and a half for our entrees, which arrived gluey/warm.

My son and husband both had the Rotisserie Chicken and it was very dry. I had the House made Papardella pasta and it was very disappointing. I ate very little with the exception of the shrimp. The Caesar salad was mediocre at best. We did enjoy going outside after dinner with our teens and made s' mores. I have to say for our first time at the Hershey Hotel the Harvest dinner and the Circular breakfast buffet were both disappointing. The buffet selections were cold even though we arrived very early in the morning. We ordered from the menu the morning before and had a much better experience.

This restaurant made up in service where it lacked for food quality. The server after realizing I wasn't eating my steak at the end of the meal, removed it from my bill. The filet mignon I ordered as medium well, tasted dry, burnt and lacked the tenderness they usually have.

This was our fourth time dining at the harvest for our annual trip to the hotel. In the past, we had mediocre food but great service. This time, service was terrible (inexperienced and not very helpful) but the food was much better. Our waitress spilled an entire glass of sangria all over my young daughter at the start of the meal. She was apologetic but we weren't even offered another table or even a little treat for the poor thing! It just wasn't handled in a way that a restaurant of this caliber should handle that situation. Not sure if this place is on our list for next year.

We like to stop here occasionally when we travel between ne Pennsylvania and DC. The restaurant has a spectacular view, and on a beautiful day it is a pleasure to relax and dine looking out the big picture windows from the hill top. In the past we've enjoyed a lobster roll there, but it wasn't on the menu this time. Menu food is good but not great. One burger was delicious, the other burnt and over done (although they graciously comped it). Service is very friendly. In short, it is very nice and beautiful. Food varies between decent and very good, but don't have that be your sole reason for going. Go to relax and, in our case, get a nice break from the interstate.
