Great food, great atmosphere, and a trip up to hear da at the hotel afterward for some cocktails capped the night off. The food was delicious and the service was attentive I changed my selection after I ordered, but my server easily accommodated my request.. I mentioned it was my birthday and was surprised when my server brought out a birthday cupcake on a white plate with the words "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate. The manager stopped at our table twice. The portions are generous, but the selections are limited. There were many families there. There is a patio where the staff was making s'mores that evening.. We chose Harvest over the other restaurants at Hershey because it is quiet. The food was fantastic. This is the third time we've been there and it keeps getting better. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. She even brought chocolate covered strawberries for the anniversary couple during desert. The only mistake was the waitress brought a different wine than what I ordered. She didn't show me the label before she opened it. It was more expensive than the bottle I ordered. Kindly, she offered us this bottle at the same price as the one I ordered. It too was fabulous. Food was good and everything is fresh. I had the turkey burger she had Fish and Chips. The burger was excellent, seasoned extremely well and all of the flavors meshed well. The fish and chips were good but the fish was overly oily from the fryer. The chips and slaw were fantastic.
They have a great selection of wine and a few good craft beers to choose from.

Instead, we were surprised at how many families with children were dining there. Perhaps we should have booked a later dinner time but we had a 70 mile drive home and didn't want to book too late. The food was very good and our waitress was excellent, even bringing us a special little touch to note our anniversary. We were also pleasantly surprised by the pricing of the menu, considering the room rates. The entire facility was built in the 1930's and many parts of it look like a movie set - you expect Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman to be sitting at the next table. Harvest is one of the newer additions and brings to mind a villa in Italy. Booths in dark wood with claret colored damask upholstery, stained glass skylights, mellow colors. The food is priced as you would expect for such a restaurant. Quality is excellent, portions right-sized. Attentive but not obtrusive service. Fortunately the overcast afternoon held off and rain started just as we were leaving our lunch. If weather is potentially a problem, bring an umbrella - as best we could tell - you must walk outside to reach Harvest.
Our server was very attentive and friendly. She explained the history of the menu (all locally grown/cultivated foods) and kept our water glasses filled. The ambiance and setting were very nice: special occasion but not so formal to become stuffy (would've been a problem for our graduate). Our flat spots on the meal were modest: the actual time for serving got long (they apologized) and one burger was rather rare vs the medium ordered. Last year, we took a guest there for dinner, and were thoroughly unimpressed, with the food and also the service. Especially at the asked price.
So when we went back this time, it was somewhat on a lark. Maybe things will be better?
I'm happy to report, they were. My meal, roasted salmon, was one of the finest I've ever had, and the service was excellent. Even the by-the-glass wine was great.

Everything we had was delicious. I love that they had a " farm to table concept." Everything comes from within 150 miles from their restaurant. I have been to many amazing steak places in Philadelphia and the filet I had at Harvest was even better. I was able to taste the She Crab soup and it was out of this world.
For dessert, I had the Peanut Butter pie and it was perfection. I can't say enough about this place. As we are avid Hockey fans, we ate a delicious meal and then asked the bartender if she could put the Penguin Ice Hockey game on at the bar area...there we stayed and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
