I loved this place for dinner. I especially loved the seasonal veggies. The food tasted fresh as well. My food was not salty at all and I really appropriated that. I usually find restaurants too salty. I would definitely go back when I go back to Hershey.

On the new fall menu is a traditional standard at Harvest, warm and fabulous Pumpkin Pear Soup. The outstanding breads served before the meal provided a great accompaniment to my soup. I also chose a beautiful, house entree salad that was so fresh and pretty. My husband's black bean burger was perfectly prepared and served with herbed fries. We topped our excellent entrees off with dessert shooters. Looking down at the fire pit outside, we shared a S'More's shooter with hot, melted marshmallow on top. How autumn is that?!

We went for a special occasion and had a wonderful time. Our waitress wasn't very attentive but the other waitresses were to their tables so I'm sure that it wasn't a mark against the restaurant - it was just our experience. The food was also delicious. We both had the filet mignon and it was wonderful. We also had a table facing out the windows so it was a gorgeous view. It was a lovely evening out.

Harvest Restaurant is a great dining experience! The view of the grounds of the Hotel Hershey makes you feel like you are in the woods. The interior decor adds to this feeling. The food and service were both outstanding. The use of local ingredients is a big plus. The menu is not large but you can have anything from a cheeseburger to filet mignon for dinner and it is all delicious! Gourmet dining in a casual atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The first 2 drinks I ordered they didn't have, ordered turkey burger well done came and it was red inside and liquid draining from it, sent it back told I wanted well done she said ok came back a few minutes later same burger,(I knowbecause I cut it in half and this burger was cut in half) not done any better told her to take away and I didn't eat I did have a bowl of their soup and a drink, when bill came they did comp me for the meal but I had to pay for my drink and soup, for an upscale restaurant thought this was a little rude, Ihave been there many times with my husband and friends, but after this I will not go back . Came to the Harvest for wedding anniversary dinner. They gave us a nice table, great wine and beer list, good bread. We had reservations for 8pm on Friday night. It was noisy and crowded when we first arrived but soon emptied out and noise level much lower. The venison ragout was superb. The pork shank was very good. The bok choy veggie special was excellent. The menu changes frequently with focus on farm to table. We could have probably enjoyed everything on the dessert menu (all w/ chocolate). Nice atmoshere, great for a romantic dinner.

The restaurant features local and regionally sourced menu items. It was well reflected in the variety and taste. A good selection. Great service, fair prices. Two small quibbles: the "wild" mushroom side had what appeared to be of the "moonlight" variety - the type you get at the store; and my wife's salmon was a tad over cooked. Overall a very special dining experience.

Outstanding service and delicious food. We ordered Filet Mignon and the ribs in Chocolate BBQ sauce. While the BBQ sauce, to me, is an acquired taste, our guest thoroughly enjoyed it. The Filet Mignon was very well prepared and delicious. I especially liked the whipped potatoes with scallions. The service was excellent as I have come to expect at the Harvest. All in all a superb meal!

Harvest has a nice atmosphere and our service was outstanding. The food was ok...the brussels sprouts were "roasted" but needed to be blanched first. I like al dente veggies but these were essentially charred and raw. The Pork shank was tender and fell off the bone, all good things but it would benefit from an overnight brine to give it some flavor. Pumpkin risotto was also undercooked. Overall, the service was truly impeccable and I would return for lunch but not dinner.

We enjoyed a very nice birthday lunch, using a coupon we were sent from Hershey. We had the meatloaf sandwich and the cod sandwich. They were both very good but the appetizer and dessert topped the sandwiches. We had the soup sampler (pumpkin bisque, Amish chicken and she crab). I don't usually choose pumpkin anything and I wanted more of that particular soup. All were excellent. For dessert we were brought 2 cupcakes with candles (celebrating two birthdays) and Happy Birthday was written in chocolate script on the plate. We ordered the take 5 torte, a scrumptious mix of chocolate brownie, peanut butter mousse, chocolate pretzels, salted caramel and whipped cream. Best to share this as it is very rich.

This hotel is in a category all its own-the service, ambiance, decor, grounds, all are above the best I have ever been exposed to including a castle in Austria! Every employee added pertinent history of Mr. Hershey 's venture in architecture and all were thoroughly respectful of what it took to create this phenomenal place of grandeur and beauty. The expansive views add an aura of awe to every scene. The cuisine would be fit royalty. Ever aspect of our stay made us want to come back there soon again.

My husband and I were in town for our 5 year anniversary celebrating at the Hotel Hershey & Spa. We had a reservation for 8:15am and arrived at 8pm. It took the hostess at least 10 minutes to acknowledge us. When she finally spoke to us, she said we would be seating closer to 8:15pm which was fine since that was our reservation time. We wound up being seated at 8:45pm. The restaurant wasn't busy and there was no excuse for the two hostesses to act unprofessional to all guests like they did. You would have thought it was both their first night on the job and no one trained them. They failed Customer Service 101. Our server luckily made up for the poor service received by the FOH staff. The food was sub par overall and not worth the price.

My wife and I went to Harvest for dinner and were very pleased. The service was great, and the food was excellent. It is a classy room with a huge stained glass back-lit ceiling. The Hershey hotel is a real grand old hotel with lovely formal gardens and koi ponds, fountains, etc. Take an after -dinner stroll to the raised patio at the front of the hotel, overlooking Hershey. There are tables and chairs, umbrellas and lots of flowers. It's a great spot for that after-dinner cocktail. Harvest uses only local sources for their food and they will gladly tell you exactly where each item came from. Most are identified on the menu. Their desserts re to die for, mostly chocolate based, of course.

Lunching with friends often finds be aiming at Harvest for the best ambience and service. Starting with the excellent breads is always a joy there. The sandwiches are first-rate, especially the black bean burgers. The sandwich of the day is often a great choice, unless you are a vegetarian. The desserts are consistently stellar. The Caramel Apple Pie with vanilla ice cream was our choice to share. The meal always ends in a couple of pieces of chocolate. perfect.

Located on the Hershey Hotel grounds , beyond a stroll past the exquisite gardens, the Harvest restaurant specializes in food that is locally sourced. The farm to table theme is carried throughout the decor which is rustic and elegant. A 180 degree view of the mountainous countryside is visible through the floor to ceiling windows, which is worth the price of admission alone. Fish and chips are the specialty here and for anyone who likes this dish it is a must. Tender, flaky, moist fish with crunch, light batter, fried to perfection. Another must not miss is the steak sandwich wrap. This is the sort of dish your dining partners will want to share with you but don't let them. Service is impeccable.

We enjoyed the food. The selection was good and it arrived hot and tasted as it should. We were a party of three and we were seated in the conservatory area. Our waitress came and took drink orders and then was gone for a good while before she brought them. We ordered promptly but the service got slower as the evening went on. By the time we were done the other diners in our area had left and we were left sitting there waiting for our waitress to return. Eventually she brought the bill and another person came and to take my credit card to run through. The restaurant did not appear to be very busy especially for later on Saturday night. I just felt they could have done a better job making us feel comfortable and welcome.

After reading several reviews about bad food and service I wasn't sure what to expect. The service was excellent, although we did have 6:30 reservations. There were many families there. The food was excellent. The only issue was the noise. My husband wears a hearing aid and our seats were in the middle of the room which allowed the noise to come from all sides. We were hoping to come in for a quiet lunch getaway. All was fine except that noise level in the restaurant was well above what we normally experience at other area restaurants. Most of it was caused by a rowdy table. The noise was clearly disturbing everyone else there. They were allowed to do a conference call at the table with the speaker blairing. Everyone had to speak loudly around the table for the person at the other end to hear. It was not appreciated.
