We left just as a rather loud group was coming in, but while we were there, it was a very pleasant experience. It wasn't rowdy, just quite crowded with professionally dressed folks. Our lunch was a leisurely one, & by the time we left around 2:30pm, surprisingly we were the only customers there! The sunny weather & large windows enhanced the sparkling white color of the place, which somehow appeared bright & fresh rather than bland, enhanced by the glass enclosed fireplaces, which sounds odd in springtime, but it worked well. We both got the apple & pear salad, hers with shrimp, mine with salmon, & I ate every bite, & particularly liked the addition of figs & blue cheese crumbles. The restaurant is stunning (as is the entire Hilton renovation) and the wait staff is very well trained and
helpful. The menu is not large but it is carefully chosen and each item is prepared very well. Ingredients are top quality with an emphasis on locally grown meat and produce. Nothing about the menu is gimmicky. This is truly a gem of a restaurant and a huge bonus for people who live in the Tyson's area and know to head to the Hilton for a great lunch or dinner.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a wonderful meal withHad a wonderful meal with my customer. Unlike a lot of restaurants on a holiday, Harth provided a varied ala carte menu. Items in each menu category sounded delicious and featured local farmers (listed on the menu) and produce. A special and yummy feature was the house-made bacon jam, which arrived warm in a small crock with a basket of bread. The honey used in the jam is produced in house from bee hives on the premises. Our entrees were delicious with interesting twists. The wait staff were very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable and showed pride in what the restaurant had to offer. We had a nice unrushed dining experience and would definitely go back for dinner sometime.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Easter brunchEnjoyed Easter brunch at Harth, and the fresh ingredients shined through in each dish. Loved the bacon jam. The salt roasted beet salad and the fig and gorgonzola flatbread were delightful. The short beef rib were just fantastic and the NY steak strip was perfect with the sauce you get on the side. Then putting the great end to the dinner with cupcake dessert and illy mocha. This restaurant proved to be the classic example of seasonal local foods. Our party of 6 all ordered seafood (shrimp, scallops, fish) which was all cooked to perfection. Our server, Marie, could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The bacon jam served with bread before your meal is superb - made with honey from the on site bee hives.
