härth restaurant, is an innovative addition to the Westchester County dining scene featuring locally sourced, farm-fresh ingredients cooked in a wood-burning oven, seasonal al fresco seating with outdoor and kitchen views from every table.

The restaurant’s seasonal menu is inspired by the farms of New York State’s Hudson Valley, which supply the produce, fruit, dairy
products, meats and game served there. Consistent with that theme, härth offers New York State wine and small-batch microbrew beers.

The floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoors inside, offering panoramic views the redeveloped courtyard and gardens at Hilton Westchester.

  • "Turned up and they didn't have the advertised menu. Basically they took our 1130am lunch booking but when we arrived they looked put out because they were still serving breakfast. The menu they offered us was very very limited. So we left and went somewhere else. Shame because we've eaten here before and the food wasn't bad."

  • "We receive a Groupon as a gift from a friend for Harth. Upon arrival, we were given a different menu for Groupon users with additional up charges. Never have we experienced that before. Very quiet we were only 1 of 4 tables being served and they messed up my daughter salad 3 times. Won't be going back."

  • "It's very rare that I would dine at a hotel restaurant, but with the Hudson Valley Restaurant week deal, I found myself booking a table with 3 friends at The Harth. We were definitely happy with our meal and think differently about dining at a hotel restaurant. The mussels and flatbread appetizers were delicious. The beer braised beef short ribs were tender and very tasty. the S'mores pizza with Nutella was perfect to end the night!"

  • "It was our first time there. The service was great and the food followed suit. Wait staff very polite and engaging. Food was pretty and tasty! It was a nice birthday dinner! Wood fired pizzas were gourmet and incredible. Entrees were large portions and extremely well thoughtout. I loved the salmon and parpadelle pasta entrees."

  • "I actually have been here before for their groupon deal. The ambiance they set there is pretty nice. Warm friendly environment makes for really nice romantic dinners. The menu is full of amazing choices. The night we went was for Hudson Valley / Westchester's restaurant week. My fiance and I had the braised short ribs and the PEI mussels. The beef pulled apart almost effortlessly and the mussels were amazing. I have two more groupons to use for this place so I will be there again, definitively."

  • "Unbeknownst to us, the hotel was host to "Lunacon". We were told by our waiter (after being seated for over 20 minutes) that our bets chance of eating in a timely manner was if we helped ourselves to the (limited) buffet. He said the kitchen was backed up and he couldn't guarantee us service in under an hour. Not worth the effort of parking!"

  • "After reading reviews on here I thought this would be a nice place to try. It is in the Hilton which normally the chain has very good restaurants inside. The restaurant is a lobby one with no separation from the hotel. The staff is the best part of this place and are very friendly and welcoming. The decor is nice also. The food however is very over priced and bland. I got the rib-eye steak and it didn't seem to have much flavor. Also the potatoes taste like they were instant. The had a small beer selection and I am pretty sure it came from a bottle as it was warm by the time I got it. My party had the same feelings. Its sad with good food (or lower prices for what they offer) this place could be a lot better."

The service was a little slow, but the food was first-rate. I would recommend any of the appetizers. The waitress and manager were very accommodating."

  • "My wife and I went for a Saturday night dinner hoping for some great food and were completely dissatisfied with this place. It was right in the hotel lobby. Not a separate space from the hotel. I order my steak medium rare and it came medium well. We ordered a side of asparagus that never made it to the table. Then as if it weren't enough when the waiter cleared our plates, he dropped the knife, missing my foot and ending up right inside my purse! Needless to say we will not be returning and not recommending this place to anyone."

  • "Was looking forward to date night with hubby and had light salad for lunch. The waiter suggested a nice white wine which was delicious and a great beer for my husband. Decided to order crab cakes appetizer and there is where my disappointment began. Both were the size of a half dollar!. ok then I ordered dinner sea scallops wrapped in bacon with a vegi mixture. Got 3 small scallops with two tablespoon of a grain/vegi mixture(no exaggeration). When the waiter put the plate down I asked is that dinner??? he said we serve small portions! WHAT!! should have returned but didn't another mistake! Told the hostess who asked If I complained to the chef! She apologized and that was it! I left hating the HART and the HILTON"

  • "Great dinner, fabulous ambiance! The Burratta appetizer is perfect; soft buttery and unusually special. Scallops wrapped in bacon-there are 3, so if you are starving, order something different but these too are perfectly prepared. I had the salmon over the open-faced lobster ravioli, and it was fresh, lightly seasoned and the skin was crisped like I have never seen before. We finished our meal with fried donuts with a chocolate dipping sauce and they were plentiful, light and nice way to end what I would consider the perfect dinner. Going Back ASAP!"

  • "Other reviewers said the food was overpriced (they must not eat in Westchester), but we felt it was fairly priced. Yes, the maître 'd wore overpowering cologne and the chairs were too low, but the food arrived hot and promptly and the service was excellent. We did dine early on a weeknight. The flatbread was delicious and came straight from the brick oven to our table. The rolls were supermarket quality and not worth eating. My husband said his lamb chops were very good and cooked the way he wanted, but my salmon was overcooked and very bland - the sauce added nothing to the dish. If I stayed at the hotel I would eat there, especially the flat bread, but given the excellent restaurants in the area, this is not worth it. We won't return."

  • "The restaurant is large and open but still cozy because of subdued lighting. We were seated quickly. Our server took a while to come over but eventually did and took our drink orders. The drinks came out in a timely manner, but after that...everything....was...slow. We got there at 7:00pm sharp and did not leave until almost 9:30. It was nice to sit and talk with our kids, but we were starving by 8:00. I finally asked where the appetizers were and he said they were on the way. 15 minutes later, they arrived. We had the salumi plate, the pizza and a salad - fresh and delicious. 25 minutes later the entrees arrived, salmon, grouper, chicken and lamb chops -- all superb! It would have been really wonderful if it hadn't taken so long."

We would have encouraged a sauce to pick up the crab cake and better accompaniments for the lamb chops, but these were minor issues for an otherwise very well-prepared set of appetizers and entrees. Though sometimes a strain to understand, the waiter was quite accommodating. We would not hesitate to tell others that this is a worthwhile addition to their listing of places to go for a fine meal."

  • "The best part of our meal was the free bread and bacon jam that accompanied it. The crab cake appetizer was not bad, but frankly forgettable. My companion's first choice of entree was not available; the pork chop he had instead was dry, and it came with mashed polenta which did not have much flavor. The rib eye steak was a bit overcooked (I requested medium doneness), but still juicy enough. The truffle mac & cheese was the most disappointing as the flavors simply were not there, and the "cheese sauce" was runny. The vegetables on either dish did not look appetizing so I left them alone (and I usually eat all of my veg). We skipped dessert because the meal was underwhelming, but I would go back just to try the s'mores pizza."

The waitstaff was friendly, but not too knowledgeable and a little pushy. The food, which was lacking in surprises, arrived in a timely fashion. Overall though, the restaurant failed to live up to expectations."

  • "I haven't been in the Rye Hilton since they renovated- much better! The Harth is an open restaurant to the lobby and is very pretty. The hostesses/waiters were friendly..however, although the wait staff was nice you could tell they were very inexperienced (not polished, which doesn't coincide with the atmosphere of the restaurant, which looks very chic. The food was okay. We were not that hungry so we shared a flatbread (decent- not wonderful), a pasta (pretty good) and roasted chicken which had no flavor but was moist. All in all I would rate the food a 6 and the atmosphere an 8 1/2. I think they could do better. if you want to run a chic restaurant you have to have staff to match and the food could be a little bit better."
