Hart House RestaurantOur romantic dinner couldOur romantic dinner could not have been in a nicer setting. The seating was well spaced and we were treated to a window table which was plenty private even though the room was more than half full. My wife and I enjoyed the steak & lobster special and both were cooked well. Because it was a special evening, we were treated to dessert after we passed on it initially which was a very nice touch on behalf of the General Manager, Ed.
Overall, we were both very pleased with our dining experience and do plan on returning for another romantic dinner in the future.12/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Hart House has a beautifulThe Hart House has a beautiful location on Deer Lake in Burnaby. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The crab risotto and calamari were superb. They chose the Hart House from several restaurants that we suggested. Our service was excellent and the food sublime. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and the server was very attentive - he let us chat for a long time and when it was time to order, he was there! And throughout the evening, he was excellent.

Thkyu.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMDuck Leg Confit ExceptionalWent here for our 12th Anniversary. Had the duck leg confit as we were told that this is the chef's speciality. Well it was. It was the best duck I have ever tasted. Not greasy. Good size portion I couldn't eat it all. Had a 1999 Sterling Merlot to go with it. Couldn't have been better.1/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
