Service was superb, our server (Erik) was especially note-worthy as he was an excellent conversationalist, while simultaneously serving us in a very prompt manner. The food was also up to Harry's typical high standards.

Harry's is located on the Christina River with fabulous patio seating and modern yet lovely dining and bar areas. The raw bar seafood plateau appetizer was wonderful and reasonably priced. The lobster tempura could have been skipped. The smoked shrimp bisque was nice and not too smokey. In line with the seafood plateu, the soft shell crab was the stand-out dish. The wine list is pretty diverse and included a lovely chocolate infused port for desert. Harry's helped us enjoy a great evening in Wilmington, DE.

I am an avid traveler with my profession and have been to many restaurants throughout the country. I live in Delaware and had never been to Harry's Seafood Grill. I decided that Harry's Seafood Grill is where I would take my wife for our 6th anniversary. We had the best dining experience. Harry's Seafood Grill is in my Top 2 Restaurants I have ever been to and number 1 when it comes to seafood cuisine. I will definately be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family. This restaurant has the perfect atmosphere, ambiance, and class. Vanessa, our server, made our experience much better. She really cared about our experience and seemed to do so with all her customers. Thank you Vanessa and Thank you Harry's Seafood Grill.

Had to take a 5:30 reservation. Graduation dinner with 18 yr old. Sat us in the bar and indicated that there were no other places to sit. There were empty tables in the restaurant proper. Food was terrible and not enough. Soft shell crab came with only two small ones and a small (1/2 cup) serving of greens. Will never go back.

The problem with this place is that the chef is from the Culinary Institute in Vermont where Alton Brown graduated from. Yeaks, why would anyone go there to learn to cook. We were there on a vacation and saw absolutely no reason to join them for a culinary delight. THis is not HARRY's SAVOY GRILL, which is AAAA++++, Seafood Grill is CCCCCC-------.

    Dined on 5/26/2008
My husband and I come here to eat at least once a month. The seafood is really fresh and the menu changes frequently depending on what is fresh that day. The last 2 times we have been there, the service has not been up to par. This is an expensive restaurant and I expect to have good service for the money I am paying. On one visit, the server forgot part of my order and messed up another part. On our most recent visit, we had 2 servers that were not working together. our food was not brought out in the right order and they kept forgetting to bring a few things. It seemed like they did not have enough servers for the restaurant. I hope that thay work this out since I do want to come back but will not do so if the service does not improve.

Nice view of the Christiana "River" and adjacent Riverwalk from the outdoor terrace, or from tables just inside the window-wall facing the river. This was our second time there (both times in daylight hours, this time outdoors), and once again the service was great, the food well prepared, tasty and visually interesting, and the drinks, beer and wine not outrageously expensive.

Harry's and Xavier do their best to hire knowledgeable folks (not kids) and service always shines. Food is usually quite good and offers a wide array of dishes. Salad (use to be huge) have shrunk some lately - but are quite good. The Calamari and the Thai Lump Crab salads are can't misses. During the cold winter months he had a list of twenty wines for twenty dollars a bottle - during that time we went three different weeknights, that's a an offer that can't be beat. Would welcome more additions to the munchie menu for late night or after dinner bar snacks when in the mood for the location but not raw bar. When YOU ARE IN the mood, Oysters are not to be missed from the Raw Bar.

Went there for a late lunch and was seated in a booth in next to the bar, where all the wait staff were hanging out after the bulk of the lunch crowd left. This was a turnoff. The booth was not very roomy, either. They took a very long time to process my credit card even though the machine was just over my shoulder. I have had very good experiences here, but this was not one of them.

We were meeting cousins at Harry's and we each drove 1 1/2 hours to meet. The service was unpleasantly memorable...we were served separately...15-20 minute waits between our food arriving at the table. Confusion about the last order...it was not a crabcake. Husband ordered a crabcake and it looked like a fishcake with lots of filler. His drink was very much watered down. We weren't looking for perfection, but this was a very unfortunate situation. I must say that the woman manager did everything she could to make it up to us. She took care of the bill, and then gave us a $75 gift card, which we turned back, since we do not plan to return. The waitress definitely lacked class. We thoroughly enjoyed our cousins, but not the restaurant.
