A word from Harry Cipriani
Harry Cipriani is located at 59th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City. This fashionable restaurant is almost an exact duplicate of the original Harry's Bar in Venice. It is packed daily with chic New Yorkers and visitors from all over the world. Harry Cipriani offers the classic Harry's Bar
menu of unique Cipriani specialties and classic Italian favorites. Service is superb; and whether you are a regular with your "own table" (many customers have lunch or dinner at Harry Cipriani every day!) or a first time guest, you are received with warmth and enthusiasm.

This was our first time at Harry
Cipriani and we were awed!"

My husband, my children and I have
been dinning and having lunch many times, we have very good memories, and the food is delicious."
Dined on 3/19/2014
My VP and I brought a client here
for dinner. When I brought out my laptop to show the client something the manager rushed ove to make me put it away. I would have no problem with that but he scolded me like a child. It was rude and inappropriate in front of my client. My VP had to ask for the check 3 times within 35 minutes! If they didn't give it to us the 3rd time we were going to walk out! Very disappointing I will not be back nor recommend this establishment- awful!"

One of the world's most famous
restaurants - great menu. Many of the classics from the Bellini to the carpaccio were invented by Cipriani. The best pasta bolognese on earth. A room always filled with energy, fun and famous faces."
Dined on 3/25/2014
It was such fun to visit this
restaurant. The Bellini's were, of course, perfect. However, my absolute favorite was the artichoke and avocado salad."
Dined on 3/22/2014
We ate there on Wed 19th March,
great food, excellent service, a little noisy but overall a great evening. Price as you would expect."
Dined on 3/19/2014
We had a late afternoon lunch and
drinks here. The food was very good. Fritto misto like you can only get in Italy. The seafood salad also was exceptional. The Bellinis were good but the martini's were served in what looked to be a shot glass. Service was too much like Venice and very unattentive and poor. Upside was the service being so out of touch with the customer failed to charge us for two drinks and a dessert. If the service had been better I would have alerted them to this but I didn't in this case. I would dine here again just to give them another chance as the food we were served was great."
Dined on 3/15/2014
Let me start with the Staff and
Service is perfect -10/10. The veal I had was also a10/10. Unfortunately the rest of my party was not as pleased. Party of 5. The lamb was a 5/10, the halibut was a 5/10 and the pasta dish was 5/10. Sides were mediocre. We had a famous guest from broadway (we didn't know who) sing for the restaurant - he seemed more impressed with himself than most everyone else. If I was we were north of 50 knew the broadway scene he and the restaurant may have impressed us. Otherwise for $500 (3 people didn't drink) - I'd try several other places. service from front of the house to Mgt we're the true highlights. Otherwise Skip it."

going old school when above 57th
street is the ONLY way to go! Harry Cipriani is amazing, great service amazing food, perfect spot. the Chicken club is basically the fanciest hot pocket you've ever had...A-Mazing!"
Dined on 3/7/2014
It was a good experience But too
expensive. It was too hot ."
Dined on 3/2/2014
The food was insipid and lacked
flavor. Too expensive for the Poor food quality."
Dined on 3/2/2014
This place lives up to its name
and reputation. Food and service are awesome. It's not cheap but worth every dollar. We can't wait to go back."
Dined on 10/7/2013
This was a very romantic place for
a special occasion. Food price was on the hefty side as well as the prices on the drinks for the portions. I expected more of the carpaccio, I’ve had better many times over. We ordered a pasta dish and fish dish and they divided both for us, which we appreciated. Service made up for any issues in price. The service was truly a wonderful experience. It seems to be a place where many patrons are regulars. Did I mention the service was amazing! Food was good but not remarkable. Also, cannot forget to mention the table sizes are small, the ceilings are low and the bathroom is in a confusing place. If you go, stop by the bar and drink a bellini."

Relaxed dining experience, good
food & friendly servers."

Ciprianis is an Italian
restaurant. You are received by an Italian speaking host. Yet inside most wateirs are latinos (Mexicans, Peruvians, Bolivians) who provide a cordial welcome. The Mr. C cocktail is a must. The atmosphere is elegant, a NY Classic."
Dined on 2/18/2014
I must say the quality of the food
we had was fantastic. The only problem we had was we went on the 14th of February and we surrounded by arguing couples etc which was annoying to say the least. I'm sure if you go out on a normal evening everything would be great."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Everything was perfect, the
sauvignon blanc, gnocchi in marinara for me, veal chop for him. I have been dying to eat here and I'm so glad I did. I would dine here again in a heart beet, as soon as I am making an income again! The only, only problem what that they forgot to bring us the appetizer we ordered :( They did work with us though when we were running late so as to not ruin our Valentine's Day dinner."
Dined on 2/14/2014
We have been to the Cipiriani in
Venice - as well as the Harry's Bars in Venice, Florence and Rome. Harry's Cipriani did not disappoint. The staff was very attentive, the food was spectacular and we were seated right in the front window. Can't wait to go back."
Dined on 2/8/2014

In my opinion Harry Cipriani is
one of the best restaurants in New York, and yes anywhere. I have dine at this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. Not only is the food great, but the people who work there are the best, helpful, friendly, and anxious to help their customers to enjoy their time at the Restaurant....Three cheers for Harry Cipriani....long may is stay around to make my restaurant time so happy. I had a nice romantic lunch with
my husband here. Wonderful service and atmosphere--mix of tourists and wealthy locals which makes for an interesting scene. I knew in advance it would be premium priced but being a local foodie, feel there are many other restaurants that offer just as nice of an atmosphere (e.g., Marea) and much better value for the money when it comes to the food. The food was delicious but way overpriced for what it was. I don't mind spending money on great cuisine --in fact do it regularly but I like to feel like it's worth it."
Dined on 1/17/2014
Our lunch choices were excellent,
the service was good to a point. We ordered a cold and hot appetizer, the hot appetizer was presented with two sauces as we were ready to taste the cold appetizer we had to ask for fresh dishes so as not to mix sauces with our second serving. After this request our server brought our entre to the table and that was the end of any attention. We were not given a dessert menu, we were not asked for coffee choices, only a passing server placed a plate of cookies on the table a she walked through the room. We asked for espresso and then asked for the check. We left a 20% gratuity because we always feel that as customers choosing this restaurant it is our choice and our responsibility"

I used to travel to New York
often. I always enjoyed the stop at Harry's - the vibrant scene of everyday elegance in the midst of yellow silk and polished dark wood, garnished with fresh, yellow roses that beckoned my Texan sensibilities. I looked forward to entertaining clients there and, on occasion, being entertained. Since then, they remodeled. The yellow roses are gone. The kitchen is now the Pierre Hotel's kitchen. It's still good atmosphere, but not quite the same. The food is still good but not quite the same. The bilinis are still great! The wine list gouges and the food no longer commands the price. The impeccable service remains. Maybe I'd go back. Maybe not. I'm trying to not be disappointed because I've always loved that place."

If you're a looking for fantastic
out-of-this-world Italian fare, this is the place to go to. The ambiance may be a little on the older side, but the food makes up for everything. It is a tad on the expensive side, though."
Dined on 1/5/2014
Perfect food ----- delicious wine.
--- great ambiance . Terrible waiters. Not friendly. Yeah, yeah yeah was their attitude. Sincerely, Anne. Savannah"

The overal ambiance and traditions
and menus "classics" make this venerable reminder of zbenice still quite special .. And worth it."

Always fun energetic and wonderful
Italian service and food"

The artichoke salad was indelible.
I also felt like I was too young to be in there."
Dined on 11/22/2013
When we arrived we were a bit
early because we had to walk over immediately after our Broadway show. There were no cabs and we showed up at the restaurant very cold and a bit disheveled. The Maître 'D was somewhat rude and ignored us until we captured his attention. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The waiter was nice enough , however, not very attentive. I ordered the lamb chops to be medium and I had to send them back because they were too rare. I chose this restaurant as a change of pace from 21 and I would not go back."
Dined on 12/14/2013
Cipriani's in the Sherry is one of
our favorite places to people watch and soak up the atmosphere of New York during the holidays. Food is always good, but the real treat is the service and ambience."
Dined on 12/9/2013
For a place where a steak costs
nearly $70, you'd think it would either be incredibly delicious and/or the service would be impeccable. Unfortunately, neither or true. The service was poor and the food was decent, but certainly not worth the price."
Dined on 12/5/2013
Multitude of waitstaff unattentive
and were fighting with one another. Extremely overpriced and food was just OK. Dessert was only highpoint."
Dined on 11/30/2013
Amongst the many restaurants in
New York, this is absolutely one of the best. The atmopshere is wonderful, hectic but in a good way. Service is fantastic, you know when the employees have been there for 20 years. Tables are close, so you can't avoid getting to know the people at the next table - and they, like the waiters, were very friendly. Ok, so the food is not Michelin quality but then again, the prices are not either. Can't wait to go back"
Dined on 11/23/2013
Food was good. Hated the service.
Waaaaay over priced. Not worth the money for sure."
Dined on 11/23/2013
