  • "My VP and I brought a client here for dinner. When I brought out my laptop to show the client something the manager rushed ove to make me put it away. I would have no problem with that but he scolded me like a child. It was rude and inappropriate in front of my client. My VP had to ask for the check 3 times within 35 minutes! If they didn't give it to us the 3rd time we were going to walk out! Very disappointing I will not be back nor recommend this establishment- awful!"

  • "We had a late afternoon lunch and drinks here. The food was very good. Fritto misto like you can only get in Italy. The seafood salad also was exceptional. The Bellinis were good but the martini's were served in what looked to be a shot glass. Service was too much like Venice and very unattentive and poor. Upside was the service being so out of touch with the customer failed to charge us for two drinks and a dessert. If the service had been better I would have alerted them to this but I didn't in this case. I would dine here again just to give them another chance as the food we were served was great."

  • "Let me start with the Staff and Service is perfect -10/10. The veal I had was also a10/10. Unfortunately the rest of my party was not as pleased. Party of 5. The lamb was a 5/10, the halibut was a 5/10 and the pasta dish was 5/10. Sides were mediocre. We had a famous guest from broadway (we didn't know who) sing for the restaurant - he seemed more impressed with himself than most everyone else. If I was we were north of 50 knew the broadway scene he and the restaurant may have impressed us. Otherwise for $500 (3 people didn't drink) - I'd try several other places. service from front of the house to Mgt we're the true highlights. Otherwise Skip it."

  • "This was a very romantic place for a special occasion. Food price was on the hefty side as well as the prices on the drinks for the portions. I expected more of the carpaccio, I’ve had better many times over. We ordered a pasta dish and fish dish and they divided both for us, which we appreciated. Service made up for any issues in price. The service was truly a wonderful experience. It seems to be a place where many patrons are regulars. Did I mention the service was amazing! Food was good but not remarkable. Also, cannot forget to mention the table sizes are small, the ceilings are low and the bathroom is in a confusing place. If you go, stop by the bar and drink a bellini."

  • "Everything was perfect, the sauvignon blanc, gnocchi in marinara for me, veal chop for him. I have been dying to eat here and I'm so glad I did. I would dine here again in a heart beet, as soon as I am making an income again! The only, only problem what that they forgot to bring us the appetizer we ordered :( They did work with us though when we were running late so as to not ruin our Valentine's Day dinner."

  • "I had a nice romantic lunch with my husband here. Wonderful service and atmosphere--mix of tourists and wealthy locals which makes for an interesting scene. I knew in advance it would be premium priced but being a local foodie, feel there are many other restaurants that offer just as nice of an atmosphere (e.g., Marea) and much better value for the money when it comes to the food. The food was delicious but way overpriced for what it was. I don't mind spending money on great cuisine --in fact do it regularly but I like to feel like it's worth it."

  • "Our lunch choices were excellent, the service was good to a point. We ordered a cold and hot appetizer, the hot appetizer was presented with two sauces as we were ready to taste the cold appetizer we had to ask for fresh dishes so as not to mix sauces with our second serving. After this request our server brought our entre to the table and that was the end of any attention. We were not given a dessert menu, we were not asked for coffee choices, only a passing server placed a plate of cookies on the table a she walked through the room. We asked for espresso and then asked for the check. We left a 20% gratuity because we always feel that as customers choosing this restaurant it is our choice and our responsibility"

I always enjoyed the stop at Harry's - the vibrant scene of everyday elegance in the midst of yellow silk and polished dark wood, garnished with fresh, yellow roses that beckoned my Texan sensibilities. I looked forward to entertaining clients there and, on occasion, being entertained. Since then, they remodeled. The yellow roses are gone. The kitchen is now the Pierre Hotel's kitchen. It's still good atmosphere, but not quite the same. The food is still good but not quite the same. The bilinis are still great! The wine list gouges and the food no longer commands the price. The impeccable service remains. Maybe I'd go back. Maybe not. I'm trying to not be disappointed because I've always loved that place."

  • "When we arrived we were a bit early because we had to walk over immediately after our Broadway show. There were no cabs and we showed up at the restaurant very cold and a bit disheveled. The Maître 'D was somewhat rude and ignored us until we captured his attention. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The waiter was nice enough , however, not very attentive. I ordered the lamb chops to be medium and I had to send them back because they were too rare. I chose this restaurant as a change of pace from 21 and I would not go back."
